“Very Good New Manchester Hotel”

Stayed at the Crowne Plaza Manchester Centre with a colleague on a business/pleasure trip. Very good experience - no problems checking in, very nice modern rooms with all you would expect including flat screen TV. Comfortable bed and nicely furnished. Had a couple of drinks in the bar & reasonably priced with a good choice. Decent atmosphere also (Saturday night). My colleague went to breakfast & said it was very good. Checkout no problems & taxi arrived promptly.

Can't fault this hotel, it is new,modern, it has a very good room rate,great location in Central Manchester, staff was very welcoming and helpful, room and bed was very comfy (and I rarely find a hotel bed where I can sleep through the night,they are all either too soft or too hard). Really, this is the one to stay in Central Manchester

“Such a great hotel”

The crowne plaza is a great hotel. It is extremely modern with really sexy decor in the rooms. The bathrooms were breathtaking. I probably won't stay here again as I will end up spending the bulk of my time in the hotel as opposed to enjoying the delights of Manchester. Staff were friendly except for a nasty little woman in the restaurant who treated me in a disapproving manner when I asked for a knife to take to my room so I could eat a mango I purchased from Marks and Spencer's. It is a great hotel though a little pricey. It was highly annoying that the minibar was locked and I needed to empty it so I could store my provisions. The reception kindly unlocked it remotely for me though. If you're just looking for a base to sleep in while you go out then there are considerably cheaper options. If you want probably the most beautiful hotel in Manchester then I would stay here.

“Can't fault it.”

We stayed for just a Friday night in Manchester and again got a great rate through Expedia. The hotel is new (Sept. 08) so is in excellent condition throughout, as is to be expected. Our room had two double beds both with gorgeous bedding and plenty of comfortable pillows. The matresses were both extremely comfortable and of very good quality. The ensuite bathroom had both a bath and separate shower cubicle, and was fitted with top quality sanitaryware. The room had free high speed internet access, though not wireless (free wireless access is available in the public areas of the hotel). Overall extremely satisfied with our stay, and will be back.

booked hotel following reviews read. All good except found modern decor in the restaurant a bit cold and clinical. The modern grey drapes looked as if they should have been white and needed cleaning. However all the staff were lovely and could not fault the hotel in any way. Our waitress went out of her way to print off maps and help us find our way around Manchester. We would return!

Great location for city centre shopping, 5 mins from main shopping area. Hotel is very clean, staff very helpful and the room was lovely. Would definitely recommend this hotel. 2 mins walk from Shudehill Bus Station so great if you're flying into Liverpool Airport as the Terravision bus from Liverpool to Manchester takes you to within 2 mins of this hotel - great!

“Excellent value and quality”

The hotel is situated opposite the main bus station and very close to the Arndale centre. The hotel itself is very welcoming and the reception staff were very efficient in the checking in/out process. The room was very clean and modern with complimentary toiletories. I purchased a buffet breakfast in the morning and it was of a high standard with a vast selection. This hotel has no negative points and I would without hesitation recommend it to any person travelling to Manchester. I cannot wait to return!
