“A class of its own”
If you are used to the US Hilton's this one is quite a chock. Everything is old, small and far from design. But it does the job with comfy beds, nice TV and friendly staff. And you can walk to it from all terminals.
“great for connecting passengers”
Upon arrival using the courtesy phone to ring the hotel for a shuttle pick up it took some time as no one answered the phone. However and thankfully the person at the information counter at the manchester airport was very helpful but he too had some difficulties getting through to the hotel staff. My wait for a shuttle took aprox 30mins due to not be able to get through. However the hotel is near by and perfect for a 1-2 night stay for transiting passengers. Note the rooms do no have a hair dryer for those in need of one. FYI to those that do not know this, seems like most hotels in the uk do not offer complementary wi fi, they have wi fi but usually for a fee starting at 5 pounds an hr.
“Doesn't deserve four stars”
Torn magazines, upside down menus, 1/2 a roll of toilet paper, and a near empty tissue box are not befitting a four star hotel.
“Expected more from a Hilton”
The hotel is perfectly located at the airport, the staff is very nice, and overall our stay was ok. However the food was awful and the room small - I expected the Hilton name to mean more.
“convenient, efficient and good value”
Had a good 1 night stay, make sure you get the breakfast included, it is excellent.

Really can't complain--this was a clean and quiet airport Hilton, very convenient.

Convienient for early check in but receptionist's English was not very clear and she was rude. I was too tired to make a complaint. Restaurant breakfast was excellent and Ann was wonderful and went out of her way to make sure all was OK.

Very convenient to airport with complimentary shuttle service. A must stay for business travelers.
“Adjacent to Manchester Airport”
Our room had maintenance issues: curtain rod hanging off wall, one of the phones did not work, shower curtain rod not fully attached, however, those issues did not interfere with our one night stay. The location, just adjacent to the Manchester Airport, made it an ideal location for early international departures.
“Expensive Internet and Resturant”
Charge for internet service is too high ($24.45 per day). Next time I would choose another hotel with free or low cost internet service. The resturant was also quite expensive and there were no less expensive options like pastries for breakfast.
