Zentrumsnah, ruhig

Pros: Ruhe
Das Hotel ist einigermaßen in Schuss; etwas abgenutzt, aber alles in allem in Ordnung.

Exactly what you would expect from a Holiday Inn

Posted Jan 19, 2015 on Hotels.com
Exactly what I would expect from a Holiday Inn. Good standard of staff, good standard of room, good standard of cleanliness, gym facilities OK. Car park small, but spare spaces during my stay. Didn't eat in the restaurant as I wanted to eat outside of hotel. My only problem with this hotel (as with all other HIs) is the high price charged for breakfast. Why £14? I had no breakfast, as I couldn't justify this cost, even on expenses!

Everything good you expect from a Holiday Inn

Typical good quality buts somewhat clinical and cloned standard you come to expect from a Holiday Inn.

Good hotel but needs attention to detail.

I was visiting friends in Bolton. On the whole my wife and I enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Our only criticism was the lack of temperature control in the room. The heater was on full all night so we were hot and uncomfortable. Didn't sleep very well!

Handy for night out in Bolton.

Hottest room in the World! Heating kicked in at 4AM and no way of turning it off. Air-con not available during Winter! Opened window but noisy. Complained. Staff VERY helpful. Beware, carp park under hotel is very tight. No good for 4 wheel drive vehicles unless you are lucky.

Great hotel but room for improvement

Posted Nov 18, 2014 on Hotels.com
Fantastic hotel. Very quite and dark room. Lovely and warm. Breakfast was delicious! We were informed when we arrived that there was a wedding reception taking place and we had been put in a room above the function room. Luckily we had planned to be out for the evening, however if we had planned for a restful night only, we wouldnt have been able to have this. We should have been informed at the time of booking that there was an event on so we had the opportunity to find another hotel. Also the car parking situation is awful we drove around several times looking for a space! There are just 2 small car parks, one of which didnt seem to be for hotel guests only.

City Centre Stay

Posted Nov 15, 2014
Pros: Friendly Staff, room size and location. Pool area is looking tired but if you have kids with you is worth a look.
Cons: Evening meal deal if cheaper would get more people to use this lovely restaurant we have never seen more than a few tables being used and its a shame.
Location: Town centre shops, restaurants and casino within walking distance
Easy to find in Bolton Centre, good plentyful car parking. Check in was swift and informative when asked about distance to local shops, places to eat. Room was on first floor and first impressions were good. It was clean with lovely king bed with choice of pillow types. View was rubbish but not a factor in our stay. Bathroom had all extra bits soap, shampoo, shower gel and blow type hair dryer and a great shower over bath (water pressure was fine). There was another hair dryer in the bedroom which was easier to use while doing make up etc. Tea and coffee tray also available. Its the little extras that make the difference and worth paying that bit extra for. We have eaten in the restaurant for evening meal before and its excellent if you can get a good room rate. We on this occasion were B&B and as always the breakfast was lovely and excellent choices for all tastes. Great and will definately stay again,
