We made a weekend of going to see Lee Evans at the Phones 4U Arena and opted for this hotel as it was quite close. As it turned out, it was in an ideal location! It was within walking distance of everything we wanted. Only 10 minutes stroll to the Printworks, The Arndale or The Arena. I can't walk far and this was ideal for me!
Will definitely be looking at staying here again next time we stay in Manchester.

We chose to visit relatives in Salford over the bank holiday. This hotel offered the best price for us (2 adults and 2 young children) in a shared room for 3 nights. It was clean and cosy, the kids had a bit of space to play despite both beds being in the way. The shower room was clean, and a good size.
the staff were attentive and very accommodating. We particularly enjoyed the free buffet breakfast every morning, which was varied for a budget type hotel! Everything was cleaned daily, we would recommend for families.

We we're really surprised when we first arrived just how close it was to O. road train station. There were a few compliacations when we booked in as although we booked a double room with sofa bed due to my friends back problems, as we'd booked through a third party (Expedia) they'd only sent it as double bed only. We explained to the lady that the type of room had been booked on purpose and within a couple of minutes she managed to move around some other rooms so we could have the room we needed. The room we got moved to hadn't initially been set up, but they allowed is to drop our bags in the room and off we went shopping which wasn't too far away. Other than the main bed being a bit creeky and the lighting in the room being pretty dim the stay was perfect for one night. The free breakfast in the morning was great too, we liked the fact you were able to take it to your room to as the restaurant was incredibly busy at the time we went, 9.30 (approx) on a Sunday. When it came to checking out, that was a bit of an issue. We were on floor 10 and aiming to check out at about 10.45, we didn't realise it would take 30 minutes for an empty lift to come. My friend and I, along with about 10 other guests were all stuck up there till gone 11, floor 10 is way too far up to lug your suitcases down the stairs. The lifts were working, it was just they called at EVERY other floor before they got to 10. So leave lots of time to check out :)

I found the restaurant staff to be most helpful. The swimming pool was extremely quiet the morning that I went, so was lovely. I was able to swim my lengths very comfortably. The room was adequate, although the bathroom was quite dated. The location excellent, right in the centre of the town behind Debenhams.

After arriving from holiday at 2.00am it was lovely getting quickly to hotel and into a very comfortable bed for a good nights sleep. We could also have lie in because they served breakfast until 11.30am.
