Not that clean and maintained

Posted Oct 17, 2014
Pros: Quiet and location is convenient.
Cons: Get the Facility's people to do their job !!
The public areas, corridors, ice room, vending areas are dirty and dingy. Back door card access is broken and has been for sometime now. I've stayed at this place several times over the last several months and none of these conditions/ have been addressed. Seems a little bit pricy for not so great conditions.

Nice hotel.

Posted Oct 16, 2014
Pros: Comfortable.
Cons: High rates. Expedia clients are offered the smallest rooms and rooms next to mechanicals and vending machines.
The room/suite was excellent. Upon checking in, the front desk clerk offered a room next to the mechanicals (very noisy) and after asking to switch, the staff was accommodating to our request. The hotel was booked and switching rooms was tight for them. Room was quiet......nice!

A bit disappointing

Posted Oct 13, 2014
The general appearance of the hotel was satisfactory but once we were more familiar, it seemed as though it was once quite nice but now quite shabby and a bit grubby. The breakfast was very crowded and the room was grubby. We just left and ate somewhere else.

one night. peeling paint. not enough towels.

Posted Sep 22, 2014
Pros: location
Cons: room painting, more towels
Location: golf in Salem, restaurant across the street.
Disappointing, but the price was right and I wasn't going to be in the room long.

Some minor issues, but good stay overall

Posted Aug 30, 2014
I will admit I lean to the negative side, but I chose LaQuinta based on good past experiences along the eastern seaboard within the past 5 years or so. 1. Called hotel about pool before booking. Pool had problems during our entire stay, but the hotel was trying to correct them and we did get a few swims in; 2. My son found a lost pair of panties within minutes of our entering the room; 3. Pool was half the size it appeared to be in pics online by my estimate, but I should have anticipated that; 4. One of the beds was worn and sagging; 5. Only had one mystery knock at an odd hour and a yipper dog down the hall one night calmed down before I tried to go to bed; 6. Breakfast buffet options were as good as expected; 7. Hotel staff always appeared pleasant and courteous, as was expected.

It was a place to sleep.

Posted Aug 20, 2014
Cons: Clean the rooms better.
Location: Canobie Lake Park is just up the road.
All we required was a clean place to rest for one night. The beds were comfortable, and appeared clean. The bathroom, however, was not clean. The back of the door was grimy and covered with handprints and the bathtub/shower was moldy and mildewy. Very unpleasant experience.

Nice stop over

Posted Jul 30, 2014
Pros: Cleanliness and friendly staff
Cons: Breakfast - toaster was very slow and though it held 4 slices it only had 1 setting, also 1 wafflemaker didn't seem to work. Softer towels
Location: Just spent the night
This is the first time staying at a La Quinta and we were pleasantly surprise. Nice facilities and the price was good. It was not what we usually are accustom to, but the beds were comfortable and the facility was clean. Breakfast was ok. The staff was very friendly.
