Well impressedPosted Dec 4, 2013
Pros: Convient location/Style/Friendly Staff
Cons: A swimming pool but hey
Tried to book accommodation as close as possible Apollo theatre for Gig (Steve Hackett) rather than drive 4 hours south after show. This place could not have been more convenient only 10 minutes walk away. Hotel parking was a tad expensive and full up when we arrived about 9pm that Friday night but managed to park on road, immediately outside, overnight for free.

Fantastic hotel. Great facilities and staff.Posted Nov 25, 2013
Pros: The location was great at is was in walking distance of everywhere we wanted to visit. It was clean and a very high standard.
Cons: We did not think anything required to be improved.
Location: Central to the train station and within walking distance of the shopping area and walking distance to our event venue.
We arrived on Friday afternoon and was greeted by a very helpful and pleasant staff member. She confirmed all my details and gave us helpful information about the area where we required to go to. When we entered our room we were delighted with it, it was very spacious and clean and warm. The bathroom was great with a big shower. Whenever we asked staff a question they were very professional and helpful.

Excellent choicePosted Nov 18, 2013
Pros: The staff, the spa, the room decor and the view (we looked out onto Picadilly Station).
Cons: A net could be put up in the rooms so that you can enjoy the view with a little more privacy
Location: The location could not be better.
Cannot recommend this hotel enough. A great little oasis in the centre of manchester. The rooms are very comfortable and the spa was fantstic. It was no problem to leave our bags at the hotel all day while we explored the city and collect them before hopping on the train back home in the evening. The staff are friendly and happy to help.

Over allPosted Nov 18, 2013
Overall the hotel was good value. Clean easy to get to and close to the center. The only fault i had that made the stay bad for me was that the room i stayed in was far to hot and the fans didnt cool the room the slightest making it nearly impossible to sleep and the constant trains going past did not help at all.

Modern bright hotel , excellent central locationPosted Nov 1, 2013
Pros: Modern bright Great central location
Cons: Room clean , but bathroom left not 100% I think staff were inundated with numbers staying so had to queue for breakfast and had to queue to check out
Location: Great central location. Next to Picadilly station so great if coming by train or by plane Easy walking into centre for shopping and concerts etc
Good stay again my second time. Great central location. Private secure car parking was full but NCP next door and much cheaper anyways. Room great with excellent city views.

Lovely hotel but don't eat therePosted Oct 19, 2013
Pros: View. Bathroom.
Cons: Read above. Food.
Location: Very close to Piccadilly, but Piccadilly is a rubbish area. I would recommend going closer to deans gate.
I stayed here as I've had bad experiences in Manchester hotels and wanted to ensure I got a good room. The room was great, large, comfortable, with a great view and superb bathroom. I was a bit disappointed that entry to the sauna and steam finished so early, which meant I never got time to go there after my days working. My eating experiences were very disappointing. I ate in the restaurant and had the worst fish and chips ever, and overpriced. I watched the chef working, and there was no love, he was literally throwing the food on the plates. Another night, due to bad weather I chose to eat in the bar. I waited 52 minutes for burger and fries. The bar staff were embarrassed but I was not offered a drink or anything to make up for the unacceptable wait. When it arrived, the fries, which were labelled as hand cut were limp and greasy. No way were they cut by hand. The burger was dry and the whole thing was what you would expect in a back street cafe. Such a shame.
