for the room price of £40 it was perfect.

Value for money, good facilities and surroundings, I didn't find the spa staff very helpful but it didn't spoil my experience

Pros: the setting is lovely with great facilities the restaurant food is incredible
Cons: only fault was the heating but know doubt it was a temporary issue
weve been to last drop village before and said we would go back as it was a lovely place for a night away,the only difference this time was that the restaurant and bar were freezing and we had to eat with our coats on,the rooms were fine and the staff great we will go back again................but we will wait till summer when its warmer

Bar staff

All was fine about our stay with the hotel we did find the hotel bar staff to be obnoxious. Was not best pleased as we really enjoyed our stay the previous weekend.

Daughters 18th

We needed an Hotel nearby for family to come together as we live in the South. The staff where so accomodating and helped us maintain a series of Surprises for my Daughter. A family member dropped a Birthday cake in and this was stored until required, staff provided the knapkins nothing was too much trouble. The spa was lovely and the rooms spacious and comfortable. We would like to say a Big Thank You for making our stay so pleasurable an proving My Daughter with such an Happy Memories we will be back : )!

Pros: Nothing worth mentioning
The Hotel seemed to cater for parties rather than couples or small groups wanting a pleasant evening out or to meet up with friends. The bar area allowed Ladies who had been on a Spa day to use the facilities in their dressing gowns at 10.30pm at night. The light bulb over our dinning table was not working and could not be replaced so we had to have our meal in the gloom which was not good as we were meeting up with friends that we hadn't seen for a while. The seating areas in the lobby were very cold and when asked if we could switch on a gas fire we were told it didn't work This Hotel was very disappointing. We will not be returning

Very comfortable and the staff were really nice. The room was very comfortable warm but needed a bit of tlc. The staff upgraded us to a better room. We had our wedding reception there twenty three years ago. A nice stay but needs upgrading. Gary and Deb Devon .

THE HOTEL LOOKS TIRED AND TO SAY IT IS A 3 STAR HOTEL IT WAS VERY DISAPPOINTING.IT COULD DO WITH A LOT OF MONEY SPENDING ON IT.

Great hotel fantastic spa

Loved this hotel....the spa facilities are fantastic, it makes an ordinary hotel stay so much better. This is the second time we have stayed here and it will certainly not be our last. The staff are so helpful and nothing seems to be too much trouble. The hotel has character, comfort and great facilties.....who could ask for more?
