stopped here for magic weekend, hotel was great, good meal in morning choice of healthy or bacon egg sausage ect, ect, landlady great, could not fault, will stop there next year, and its walkable to sports city 25 mins, not bad for two old codgers, and the locals were very friendly ,

Lovely owners, excellent condition of roomsPosted May 5, 2014
Booked a room for 3 for a night out in Manchester. The owner was a very welcoming lady, protective in a motherly way about three girls out in an unfamiliar town. There was no curfew and we had our own key. Didn't have breakfast but the room was clean, pretty and the bathroom was spotless. 10 minute drive from the town centre. I will definitely go back to New Central again.

Get what you pay for!Posted Jul 21, 2013 on Hotels.com
Room clean enough, had a shower in the room (some rooms dont) but no toilet in room, close enough to city centre but very rough area advised not to go out at night! And the local takeaways were shocking! Very cheap hotel but my advise would be to pay a little extra or travel a little more out of town and stay somewhere else.

I wouldn't stay here if my life depended in it. It's the area / neighbourhood that put off.
