“Outstanding airport hotel”

My wife and I stayed at this hotel on the night preceding a flight to the U.S. departing from Manchester Airport. We arrived at the airport by train and the hotel is located just off the walkway connecting the station and the airport departure hall. My wife needs to use a wheelchair and the service provided, with the assistance of the hotel, was excellent. The hotel has an excellent restaurant which overlooks the airport,so there is entertainment while you eat. Soundproofing is excellent throughout the hotel. The staff were at all times courteous and helpful. The room was large (American size) ,the bed was comfortable,and the bathroom was provided with a walk-in shower,which was much appreciated by my wife. The hotel was very well worth the price.

I stay here whenever I fly out of Manchester to US. Hotel is in enclosed walkway between train and airport. Beds are comfy, rooms are clean w/nice baths, reception was great and food nice.

All you would want from an airport hotel - clean, freindly helpful staff, quiet rooms and very good connections to terminals at the airport and train station.

“Loved it”

What a treat at the end of a long train ride to find the hotel right there and then just a short walk to the terminal the next morning. Everything was quite perfect the aesthetics, the service, the comfort, the convenience.

“Easy access”

This hotel is excellently located within the airport terminal itself and made getting to our 6 am flight a breeze by walking through the lobby, down a walkway and being directly at the check in area for Air France! The location was also great for getting into downtown Manchester by again providing easy indoor access to the train terminal and a 15 minute train ride into the heart of the city. We were pleasantly surprised by this easy access and were able to go to one of the oldest pubs in the city for a great dinner rather than eating at the hotel restaurant (which is what we thought we would have to do with a late arrival in and an early departure). Super quite too!

“Very impressive”

From check-in to check-out everything was very smooth with this hotel. We only stayed one day but staff were very friendly, hotel was clean. The bar was perfect for a relaxing drink; we did not have any food at the restaurant so cannot comment on that service. The room was clean and spacious. Wireless internet worked as it should.

“Lovely pool, great location”

I spent one night here with 2 young children before an early morning flight the next day. The room had a double and a single bed, plenty of space for luggage and the bathroom was also clean and reasonably spacious. Some of the woodwork looked a bit tired, but overall the level of comfort was very good. What made the stay for us was the use of the pool which was fantastic. A nice size, we had great fun splashing about and only saw 3 other swimmers, 2 of which were just using the sauna. The changing rooms were adequate although one shower was not working. We tried to get a drink in the evening but the pub was totally unsuitable for the kids and as we did not want to sit in the brasserie, I felt there was nowhere suitable really just to relax for a bit. It didnt really bother us as it was probably past their bedtimes anyway but it would have been nice to find somewhere for all of us to relax. The grab and go breakfast was a bit poor. The coffee cups didn't have lids so I don't know how you were expected to go anywhere with it. There were no pastries and only bananas and still water on offer at 5am. Still we didn't go for the breakfast, that was really a bonus. Can't argue with the location as you are just a short walk from the terminal and from the train station which is why we booked. Would use again.

This hotel is designed for comfort. The staff are welcoming and facilities excellent. Little extras like a place to weigh your baggage before you check in and a variety of tasteful room designs are available. There are 2 restaurants/bars on site with a variety of really good choices. For me the only downside is the price of the breakfasts but I usually go for an early check-in and lower quality airport food. This hotel is pricey but worth it for a relaxing night before travelling onwards.

Very convenient to all terminals. Beauty spa staff were wonderful. Perfect way to relax before you travel.
