What a great hidden treasure! The rooms were very nice and decorated very modern. The hotel bar and restaurant was also excellent! Looking for another reason to go back soon!!

Great stay in Concord, NH!

Posted Nov 7, 2013
Cons: Our only very minor criticism is that the room lacked a coffee/tea maker (we like to travel with our own teas for bedtime and such).
Location: Location wise, it was a nice 1 mile walk through town from the bus station (there were taxis available, but we like to walk and look around).
This is a really lovely hotel with a great restaurant! The staff can't be beat! And the beds are SOOOO comfortable - solidly on the firm side, but not too firm. And an attractive modern, roomy shower that is more accessible for more people than the standard tub/shower combo. Our only very minor criticism is that the room lacked a coffee/tea maker (we like to travel with our own teas for bedtime and such). We will definitely return when in Concord!

OK but Pretentious - especially the restaurant.

Posted Sep 3, 2013
Pros: It was in a quiet position.
Cons: Coffee/tea making facilities in the room and/or some semblance of room service
This is the ONLY place I have stayed (at any price) that had no coffee/tea making facilities in the room. When I tried the restaurant number in the morning got a snippy recording saying they were busy serving customers. The front desk suggested I come down to the lobby for the free brew at the reception desk. All I wanted was coffee in my room before facing the day. Eventually a pleasant woman arrived with some coffee, but then mentioned how unusual that request had been when I went to the restaurant for breakfast. What is that about? The restaurant is OK but over promises and under delivers.

Nice hotel great restaurant

The hotel was great, our room had a window air a conditioning unit which was a bit loud, but overall the experience was nice.

Nice hotel but a/c could have worked better

Posted Aug 1, 2013
The room was very hot and the a/c was not cool enough. I called the desk and was told that was the coldest I could get.

Classical, peaceful and friendly place

Posted Jul 24, 2013
Pros: Friendly staff. Good food. Comfortable. Quiet
Cons: Can't think of anything that needs improvement
Location: Red River Theater Downtown Concord -- Summer Market Days The Capitol Building Shopping
Loved staying at the Centennial. Everyone from the breakfast waitress to the fellow who checked me in that evening was friendly, relaxed and helpful. I was tired, driving home from the Cape and needed to stay somewhere mid-way. Slept really well. What a nice choice it was. A real treat.

Disappointing for the price

Posted Jul 8, 2013
Pros: Very attractive exterior and room
Cons: A maintenance man on call
The main problem was the air conditioning was not working. Our room was 83 degrees most of the night which made for a poor nights rest. The room was clean and nice looking and there was even a small slice of cake which made a nice treat. But the sheets were on the rough side. Low water pressure when I took a late night shower to cool down. The restaurant was closed when we went downstairs for breakfast around 10:30am. I spent about twice what I normally do on a hotel for a business trip to give myself a boost between hard days of work and I was very disappointed.

Absolutely Lovely!

Pros: The convenient location, clean and comfortable rooms, and excellent staff!
Location: No improvements necessary
The Centennial is a charming hotel with a friendly staff! It was our first time staying there, but we plan to stay there again the next time we are in Concord. The rooms were beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The hotel restaurant (Granite) was fantastic!
