good location

Posted Apr 19, 2015
Pros: Location and free coffeemachine
Cons: Cleaning could be better
Location: good location in city centre
We booked a studio room but at checkin we got an apartment with 2 rooms. The apartment is spacy enough for 3 or 4 persons so for 2 persons there was plenty of space. The living room was ok, there was also a kitchen which we didn't use except for the refrigator. Only downside was the remote controls of the televisions didn't work. Bathroom was also ok. Bedrooms got enough space but the bed didn't seem entirely clean. There was also a lot of dust all around the place. So cleaning could be a bit better otherwise most of the things were ok. The coffeemachine in the lobby was free of use and the grab and go breakfast is also worth a positive mention.

Fantastic location with terrific Duty Manager

Posted Apr 19, 2015
Pros: The facilities, the location, the staff.. That's all i need.
Cons: Nothing.
Location: This for me was a theatre break for me with 4 theatres within walking distance.
My apartment at this aparthotel was a dream. I was upgraded by Carol the duty manager to the best apartment I have ever stayed in. Nothing was too much trouble, the facilities could not have been better and the location was a 2 minute walk from transport links and theatres in the centre of Manchester. This is a hidden gem and i urge you to try it. My thanks again to a wonderful duty manager who made my stay perfect.

Great Location

Posted Apr 16, 2015
Pros: More than an hotel room. More space; opportunity to eat in which saves money for other activities. Very friendly hotel staff.
Cons: Found the bed a little hot but when we mentioned this the hotel staff brought a sheet and different quilt for the following night. Great service!
Location: Went to the Arena for a concert five minutes walk away. Also did a walking tour for 2 hours the following day. Starts at Central Library - worthwhile!
First class location for all central Manchester attractions. Short walk to Victoria Station, Arena, Football Museum, Arndale Centre & Concert Hall. Great base to return to.

Great aparthotel with fab views and location

Posted Apr 3, 2015
Hotel is in a great location and a good price, I got upgraded from a studio to a one bed apartment which was a lovely surprise . The staff were very helpful and apartment was well furnished and comfortable . It was a lovely change from a standard hotel room for not much more money . It was great to have a kitchen and sitting area for the week away. The gym was undergoing renovations and was half closed so that was the only thing that let it down as that was one reason I chose the light but hopefully that's just temporary .

Lovely hotel, central.

Lovely hotel, in central location however not the best of areas. Attracts homeless and drunks around the hotel. The hotel do provide a car park underneath but for a charge of £17.50 per night which you should not have to do. The car park was ridiculously small to get around in which you would not get a large family into.

Good location!

Posted Mar 28, 2015
Overall it was a good experience considering I had never stayed in a aparthotel before. I booked a executive room on the 6th floor. My friend was staying on the 9th floor and I must say her aparthotel was more spacious. I was disappointed with this considering we both booked a executive room. Kitchen was great however did not have allot of the equipment. For example there is a oven but no oven tray. Luckily there was a tesco next door so I could just buy it from there. In relation to the staff I did not really feel welcome. They were not approachable. However this did not really effect my visit. Overall I did enjoy my stay and I loved the apartments. It was clean and modern. Would visit again!

Convenient Manchester apartment hotel

Posted Mar 25, 2015
Location: Right in the centre of things in Manchester, a ten-minute walk from Manchester Piccadilly station. Easy to find.
Everything I needed for a week's stay for work. Plenty of utensils in the kitchen, clean throughout. Polite and helpful staff. Complimentary continental breakfast near the front desk.

Excellent location

Posted Mar 10, 2015
Pros: The location
Cons: Housekeeping and some customer service training for some members of the reception team.
Location: Excellent location and the Northern Quarter literally across the road to explore.
I have stayed in other apartment hotels in Manchester. On the location front this one cannot be beaten: you are literally in the centre of the city and right next to the fabulous Northern Quarter. This is what you are paying for. Other apartment hotels have more spacious and better appointed rooms: both the bedroom and living space were adequate but on the small size and places you'd want to spend a lot of time in if you were claustrophobic( the views from the 14th floor facing north were great though). I was there for four nights and there was no evidence of Housekeeping having been in my room once in that time. Although there was plenty of evidence of them elsewhere including soiled bedding being left in hall ways for hours. The staff who checked me in and out were polite, pleasant and professional. Unfortunately two other members of staff I needed to talk to during my stay, whilst they answered my queries they definitely needed some guidance on customer service i.e. the fact that a smile costs you nothing and eye contact with the person you are speaking to is just good manners. I'd stay here again but only if I got really good rates - there are better apartment hotels in Manchester.
