The staff were very friendly and helpful. Amy at the reception desk was great. Turned a possibly annoying delay checking in into a very positive outcome. Handled the situation with professionalism and poise.
The location is fantastic. Just steps to all the best shops and restaurants and bars.

This hotel was within walking distance to many shops, the Empire State Building and Times Square. The room was very spacious and the beds were comfy. The room exceeded my expectations. There was a nice kitchenette area with a sink, fridge and microwave. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to New York.

"nice little hotel, coffee around the corner, quiet"
room was very hot and it was impossible to shut off the heat, but the room, a larger one, was excellent and quiet until the morning when the staff outside talked loud in front of door.
Definitely to recommend otherwise, but have a larger room. Wonderful people and great location, next to Subway and close to museums and delicatessen and Starbucks.

My 21 year old daughter and I had a wonderful experience. We loved the comfortable atmosphere of the hotel and appreciated it's unique history. It felt more like a bed and breakfast. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating and the location was ideal for shopping and visiting all of the local sites that we could fit into a weekend. Our junior suite was perfect for the two of us. I was glad to have read the reviews beforehand, so I was prepared for the low lighting in our room and the small bathroom, which turned out to be quite comfortable and very clean. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Mansfield to others and look forward to staying there again.
