“Extremely surprised because of the nature of the location of this hotel.”
Pleasantly surprised. I expected middle of the road, very used accomodations. I received an upscale and well maintained room.
“Will go back again”
My complaint about this hotel was that the carpet needed to be replaced or at least washed. I didn't want to walk barefooted. It was very convenient to have a Super Wal-Mart right across the hotel.
“exceptional value”
Nice clean hotel, conveniently located to the interstae and fast food. A great hotel for the money. My stay was related to Fort Riley and would recomend this hotel for anyone going there for a visit.
“Junction City Best Western”
Hotel was clean, comfortable and quiet. After a good night's sleep, was able to hit the road the next morning after a good continental breakfast at the hotel.
“Awesome!”
This was one of our favorite hotels on our 14-day trip.
“Very nice, new hotel”
I wasn't expecting granite counters. Nice, small, pool. New, clean facilities. Across from Super Walmart.
“Overnight at Junction City”
Pleasing to the eye upon arrival. Presentation of the room was welcoming. Although if you are the type of travler that throws/put your items on the bed beware the remote is on the corner of the bed betwen brochures of going green for those that stay more than overnight. The MIcrowave and refrigerator were in a baker stye furnishing offering a counter top space. There is a good size table and one chair.
“Generally, very satisfied”
Two comments 1. Breakfast room is too small and difficult to move around when tables are full. 2. Hotel clerk was only able to recommend one resturant in local area. I was able to find several that appeared suitable by driving around.
“Not bad, but not a 5, either. About a 3.5, really.”
The hotel was okay, not bad. The room was very plain and small (the whole hotel is), but the beds were comfortable (if you like soft mattresses), and it all was clean and everything worked and we had everything we needed. The staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast was okay (the same thing every day and not much healthy stuff, but you do get hot food if you want it, and things kids will eat, and there is plenty of it). The worst part was that the room was very noisy: the a/c unit and the bathroom (both ours and the ones on either side of us) were so loud that we couldn't hear the TV without turning it way up. Plus, we were on the second floor, and as another reviewer said, the hallway floor has an loud, annoying squeak in the middle (not on the first floor, though). The noise was the worst part of our stay. It is very easy to get to from the interstate and is really convenient to Ft. Riley, and there's a Walmart and a gas station across the street, and a few good dining places next door. We did get a discounted price, so we got our money's worth, given the price of hotel rooms these days. I would stay again, but I'll check out the competition first--and ask for a quieter a/c unit.
“Ok place to stay if you are not looking for the Ritz.”
OK place, not the fanciest in the world but great if you want a comfortable clean place to stay.
