Worth the drive

Posted Nov 25, 2013
Pros: Price, cleanliness, decor - a new hotel
Cons: Room size was small, but well appointed
Location: Manhattan is 15 minutes away with Kansas State University and Aggieville. Great restaurants and easy access to the interstate.
My husband and I were going to a Kansas State University football game and opted to stay in Junction City rather than a lesser quality hotel in Manhattan. It was well worth the 15 minute drive for the comfort, quality, and price! While the king room was small, it was nicely appointed and had a fold out sofa bed. The bed was comfortable and the room was exceptionally nice. Since our time spent in the room was basically for sleeping, we didn't mind the size of the room. The staff was very courteous and accomodating. Our only complaint was the University of Oklahoma marching band was staying at our hotel and ran up and down the halls until later in the evening.

Very pricey, not much to speak for.

Posted Nov 9, 2013
Pros: Cool balcony.
Cons: TV Remote and Breakfast included
Location: State Cross Country Meet
Really wasn't anything special. For the price was expecting a very comfortable bed and pillows. But the bed was average and pillows were worn out. The TV was very good, but the remote was having PMS and only wanted to work when it felt like it. Meal was not included, so we drove to McDonald's rather than to pay more money.
