Pros: Friendly people, very nice surroundings, families there for weddings all made it enjoyable.
Cons: My husband heard the air conditioner units outside our window coming on at night--but then he is a former air conditioner repairman! I didn't.
Location: We attended soccer tournaments in Manhattan and it was a short 20 minutes away. The Tall Grass Discovery Center is great and Little Apple Brewing Co.
Stay was excellent in all aspects. We received a requested second floor room away from the elevator.

Very clean, well kept facility next to shopping and restaurants. Pool and hot tub were also clean. Most comfortable bed in a long while. Highly recommend!

Pet friendly or pet gougers

I have been driving cross country over the past few days. I had 1 small dog with me and discovered that the pet fee at this hotel is 3-4 times more than other hotels with comparable rates. The pet fee was within a few dollars of the actual room rate. What a ripoff!

This is a deep cleaning process that includes shampooing carpets and furniture as well as pulling down drapes . We use this fee to cover those costs. Again thank you for your comments.

Out of order pool.

Unfortunately, I can't give this hotel a high review because one of the main items we were wanting in a hotel that night was the pool. It was OUT OF ORDER. Not real great when you have a toddler excited to go swimming and its polar ice cold. There was no mention of this when we were booking or checking in. Probably would have went to a different hotel. Furthermore, this is more a general gripe about Marriott.....would it kill you to include a hot breakfast with each stay? Doesn't have to be anything big, just something decent. We have always loved Marriott's, however, we are now strongly leaning towards other hotel brands because they provide greater value. On a positive note, this hotel looked to be recently updated/renovated so it had the look and feel of new Marriott. Check in was very fast and easy. Close to a couple food options and walmart.

Dirty bathroom!

The room was very nice, but the bathroom floor was sticky and dirty, there was hair in the shower, and the sink wasn't very clean either. The grossest part was that the toilet wasn't cleaned in I don't know how many days/guests. I'm guessing that the person before me couldn't have left all that mess.

Best Comfort on Snow days!

My boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay at this hotel! We came in just in time before a snowstorm hit the area and the hotel was very convenience in terms of getting supplies before the storm came. The room had a refrigerator so we were able to store drinks and meals to microwave when we wanted! The location was convenient to a WalMart and nearby restaurants AND the room had a beautiful, modern layout! If we come back that's definitely where we will stay.

Too much hot water!

Pros: The remodeled café area was nice looking
Reported nothing but hot water coming out of faucets & toilet around midnight. Next morning, nothing had changed. Front desk said they had nobody on-call to fix it. Hotels should ALWAYS have someone on-call to fix plumbing. Couldn't take a shower since water was too hot. Room was discounted some, but when taking a shower is about 50% of your stay? Was disappointed. Also - remodeled café to a Bistro. Missed having the breakfast buffet and made-to-order omelets. So didn't eat breakfast at hotel this time. :(
