“Satisfactory”

The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel staff was friendly. There is a great Italian restaurant within walking distance. The hotel signs do not say 'Knights Inn'. It still says 'Days Inn'. We passed it by a couple of times because of the sign confusion. The Wi-Fi was poor quality. I was disappointed by the pool being closed and the wi-fi quality being poor. I would stay again for an economical place to sleep if the wi-fi was fixed.

“Travel with 4 Kids”

Overall experience was OK. Won't lie, definitely looked a little sketchy from the outside and Lobby. However, for the extremely low rate we recieved, our expectations were not very high so were pleasantly surprised to see tha tthe hotel was very close to Ft. Riley (our destination), 24 hr convenience store across the street and a McDonalds and Sonic just up the road. For 2 nights with young kids, it was definitely a great deal. Rooms had small fridge and microwave which helped out great with hot snacks for the kids (microwave mac n cheese, raviolis, noodle soups, etc.) They accomodated our request to ensure that our rooms were right next to each other. The indoor pool was heated which was a great thing to keep the kids busy and not freezing :). The breakfast was very limited, but they had cold cereal with milk and juice which was the focus for the kids (we traveled with 4 ranging in age from 15 - 2 yrs). Definitely met our needs for a short stay close to base. To be honest, if I would get the same rate, I would likely stay again given the location, microwave/fridge and heated pool.

“Good for the price”

Not the cleanest place we've stayed, but for the price it was good. The staff took very good care of us. Swimming pool and hot tub were clean. Pool was very cold. Hot tub was great!

“Price meets expectations”

Low price = low expectations = low quality

“Acceptable”

It was acceptable, but the upkeep of the facility was poor, and didn't give you a very good feeling of quality and cleanliness of the room. The price was much less than the other hotels in the area.

“NOOOOO!!!!”

I am used to inexpensive motels, so don't have high expectations, but this place took the cake: large slabs of peeling paint, holes in bed covers, tiles falling off bathroom walls, toilet bowl so gross I couldn't look in it, sink that drained slowly, fresh carpet stains, funky smell, unplugged lights that required moving mattresses, behind which I found lots of trash, no in-room internet connection in spite of advertisement of free internet (worked in pool area). Nonsmoking room but the next day when I smelled my pjs they were RANK! From the sheets!! Gross, gross, gross. Only saving grace was the hot-tub.

“NOT IMPRESSED”

Overall the hotel left something to be desired. The beds were comfortable but the rooms needed remodeling. Pretty shabby. The continental breakfast was very basic. Cereal , muffins, coffee , and juice.

“Dirty and run down”

We knew we wouldn't get much for such a low price, but we were still disappointed. Our room was dirty and the entire hotel seemed very rundown, old and dirty. Even the breakfast area was gross and neglected. Peeling wall paper, paint scratched off the bathroom door from an obvious animal, dirty floor, grimy wall-paper are just a few of the "low-lights". We will not be recommending this hotel to anyone and will certainly not be staying there again.
