NIce hotel

Posted Sep 22, 2013
Cons: More noise insulation. We could hear the guests at midnight who were walking in theri room one floor up.
Location: It is pretty central in Manhattan. It's only a 5 min drive to KSU campus.
We liked the pool, hot tub and jaccuzzi in our room. The breakfast was clean, plentiful and restocked several times while we sat there to eat it. I would stay there again.

Ok hotel centrally located

Posted Aug 27, 2013
Cons: Up grade the television and chair and footstool.
Location: The Location was centrally located in town, near plenty of restaurants and the mall.
overall it was a good stay. However the bathroom was very small. The chair and footstool was uncomfortable and stained. The TV was terrible, you would think by now they would have upgraded to a LCD TV with what they charge for a nights stay. Also no ac in the hallways. On the plus side overall the hotel very clean.

Easy to get to

Posted Aug 22, 2013
Pros: Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good.
Location: Visited family in the area.
We stayed for 4 nights and the sheets were not changed once!!!!! I don't think the towels were changed either! Towels were folded and hung up and folded each day. The bed was made each day. The bathroom was cleaned but on one day the tub still had hair.

Very disappointed

Posted Jul 26, 2013
Pros: The breakfast was good.
I would not stay at this hotel again. Our room smelled of mildew/mold. The smell was overwhelming. Also, the toilet was not working properly. The hotel sits right by the train tracks - noisy and you feel the vibration.

Not so Quality!

Posted Apr 15, 2013
The comfort of the bed was very disapppointing. I am usually able to sleep in a hotel without waking up sore in the morning, that was not the case this time. My fiancee and i went to use the hot tub but the jets didnt work so we sat in hot water for about 15 minutes before retiring to the uncomfortable bed. The next morning we were excited to have the continental breakfast, only to reach the lobby and find that they had no alternatives for those of us that are glueten intolerant, so we had to go out and find breakfast on our own.

Clean, newly-remodeled...pleasantly surprised

Posted Nov 1, 2012
Pros: Clean, newly-remodeled
Cons: Train tracks right behind the hotel, but really the train took a couple minutes and it was over. Not that bad.
Location: See least favorite
Stayed here on K-State game weekend. Was pleasantly surprised. I'm pretty picky with hotels, but it was clean. Bathroom had nice granite countertops and was very clean. It has obviously recently been remodeled. I'd stay there again.

Positive experience.

Posted Apr 29, 2012
Pros: Pool and breakfast
Cons: Wallpaper in bathroom was loose in spots.
Location: Easy to find. Train tracks behind hotel
Staff was courteous and helpful. Room was fine. Kids had a great time in the indoor pool. There was a train about 11:00 at night that was noticeable but wasn't offensive. We went to breakfast at 6:00 and everything was ready.

Nice rooms, poor service

Posted Mar 17, 2012
They don't indicate that check-in is after 3 pm online, but turned all their away upon arrival. Staff seemed very unprofessional, even in appearance, concierge was wearing an oversized hot pink t-shirt. Room was nice though and served its purpose.

Do not stay hete

Posted Mar 13, 2012
Pros: Breakfast
Cons: Trains at night and closet sized work out room with no ventilation.
Location: 4-5 ft from train tracks!
Didn't receive housekeeping service on one of the days of my stay. The biggest issue is that the hotel sits 4-5 feet from railroad tracks and there are three trains that run through every night! It is so loud and vibrates the room! It sounds as if the train is going to come through the walls!

My cousin Vinny. Part 2

Posted Nov 15, 2011
The hotel was in good shape but next to a train track. The coal trains came through about every two hours or so. The whole building shook as the train came by. The hotel was no further than 15 feet from the tracks. All that was missing was the blaring train horn. This should be your last choice in hotels while in Manhattan, Ks. The hotel was clean. I did not get maid service while there.
