"Excellent up market hotel close to all the action"
loved the hotel, beautiful old building, the rooms are amazing with great views of the city. The in-house cleaning of the room each day was wonderful and thoughtful with everything carefully replaced and looked after. My only criticism would be that the front of desk was a little bit abrupt and could use a bit more tlc in the handling of prospective guests.

We stayed here recently for 3 nights. The hotel is in a great spot for sightseeing around central park. They serve a great breakfast options and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was on 9th floor right by the elevators but noise was not an issue at all. Room was large and roomy, bathroom pretty small but well laid out. The only issue we had was that the room was a bit hot and the air con was to loud to put on and if we opened the window the noise level was to high. Would we repeat? yes we would.

This is as good as it gets for the money...very clean rooms, hospitable and friendly staff, close to GCT, awesome Wheeltapper bar below - I've stayed here two times now and wouldn't consider any other hotel. It feels more like a home than a hotel. You won't regret it.

If you ever wondered how comfortable those rooms in Architecture Digest are, look no further for your hotel. This hotel is ultramodern, but actually quite comfortable. Reasonable sized rooms, lots of storage space (except in the bathroom), but you do have to get over the concrete floor in your room. Our room was reasonably quiet, but the lobby was extremely loud the weekend we were there, to the point where I had to go outside with the hotel staff just to be able to hear them. Great breakfast. There is construction going on across the street, so it may be noisier during the week
