"Excellent hotel well situated superb accommodation"
From the moment we arrived we were greeted with friendly, smiling efficiency. A member of the team offered us water as soon as we arrived then after checking in he took us to our room and showed/explained all the facilities including the technology. The fittings and decor are of a high standard and whilst our room was not overly large it was well desinged and suffiently comfortable. Speaking of comfort the bed was one, if not the best we have ever slept in. Our only very minor complaint was the noise of the air on unit, but otherwise the room was quiet and relaxing.
Little touches such as complementary coffee and newspapers in the foyer area in the mornings added to the quality of the stay.
Our room was impeccably clean and kept immaculatly tidy/prepared whenever we returned to it,
The hotel is very well located, only a short distance from Central Park, Fifth Ave. and some quality shops. It is only a modest walk to Times Square and attractions such as The Rockerfeller Centre.
Whilst we didn't make much use of the restaurant (we were only in NY for 5 days and wanted to experience as much as possible of its diverse cultures) the food was of a good standard and range.
We would not hesitate to book there again and recommend to anyone.

Booked this hotel through Expedia and had the best experience. The hotel is beautiful very art deco and you feel like you are in The Great Gatsby. The room was huge, plush and comfortable. Did not want to leave the sumptuous bed, but its great location next to Central Park was key to visit this beautiful area, near the Museums and fantastic restaurants. On 5th Avenue so easy to walk to the shops. The staff were very helpful, always cheerful and happy to accommodate any request.

The whole visit was a great success, the weather was great, the people were friendly, the theater was marvelous; and it all started with Nicola, the young woman who checked us in at the Mark. Nicola overheard my wife mention that she was hungry, and did´t like the idea of having to go out. She made several calls, and invited us to go into the wonderful restaurant of the hotel. Got us a table, and the experience was great. We undoubtedly would recommend staying at the Mark, and praise the food and service at its restaurant, they both rate a couple of stars. Nicola rates at least three.

Fantastic views and fabulous location. Room very comfortable with little extras - ipod docking station, Molton Brown toiletries,The Hotel is within easy walking distance to most tourist attractions. Didn't eat in the hotel, however lots of places close by for breakfast and dinner

I was in town for 2 business meetings and my wife joined me on the trip. Great centralized location in the heart of Manhattan and the Garment District. The hotel is only a couple of blocks to Bryant Park. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had a spacious room on the 7th floor that was nicely appointed. There were a few items, although minor, on the cleanliness of the room that were noted. The washroom sink valves needed attention. There were also some small clothing tags on the floor of the closet that were missed. The rooftop bar offers fantastic views of midtown Manhattan and well thought out outdoor space with heaters.

This was a Staycation as I am a NY local and have been familiar with the TG for years attending events like NYE and other things at the bar/lounge.
The 1 BR suite was great, comfortable, space, great beds.
Only downside was the bathtub was very small and nothing special...no deep soaking tub or anything.
