Huge rooms for NYC. Great lobby. The bell hop told me the hotel black car charged taxi prices. Got to airport and driver charged black car price. Called Nykia and she took the difference off my credit card and apologized. She was amazing.

Fantastic 5 day's spent in the 'Big Apple' most of the major tourist sites visited Statue Of Liberty, Ground Zero, Empire Estate, Grand Central Station, Macey's, Central Park, China Town, Little Italy & lots more in between, with great weather to boot.
Great food, friendly people in general, a perfect short break...............a place everyone should visit at least once in their lives and when they do stay at the Ritz Carlton, Battery Park. Even the most critical of people of which I am one of them would struggle to find fault with this hotel every effort was made to make you feel welcome & if anyone is worried as I was regarding the tipping etiquette in the States don't be the service was so good all round I wanted to tip these guy's rather than feeling obliged to tip.
Although the hotel is situated in the south side of New York there is loads to see & do in the area & 2 main line underground stations, walking distance to take you anywhere you want to go in the City. If in doubt speak to the concierge & they will point you in the right direction.
It was nice to get back to the hotel late afternoon / evening away from the hustle & bustle of some of the busier area's of the city & breath a sigh of relief.
Should have visited a few day's later to take in the full Halloween celebrations on the 31st of Oct & would advise anyone if they are visiting at that time get over to Greenwich Village & join in the celebrations!!

A great hotel in a fantastic location. Whilst we learned that you don't really need to be right in the heart of Time Square because the subway system is so extensive, the location is perfect. There's plenty of places to eat and drink and the hotel is right next to a discount ticket booth and it's on top of one and in walking distance of another metro station. Overall a good experience.

I was very impressed with this hotel as the staff was wonderful and the hotel is full history. I would stay there again in a minute, however, the rooms are like traveling in Europe as they are very small. I was visiting my daughter and there are times it would have been nice to have more space. Although I do not spend a lot of time in the room, sometimes when you are running all over it is nice to relax for a while and the rooms are really just for sleeping in.

I was delighted the minute I opened the door to our room! The beauty and character of the architecture and close proximity to the attractions of the city made this the perfect place to stay. Staff was courteous and professional and the room was clean and well-appointed. I would highly recommend!

Labor Day weekend getaways are for the most part in NY -- little did I know this GEM was at this location. It was a great deal we could not pass up, off we went to locate the establishment. Surprisingly its exterior fools you; looks like a corporate office building; but trust me once inside --- you will know. Finding this Hotel also introduce us to a whole other portion of NY not too far away from Times Square we had not explored before.....Thank-You, Guys!!!!!!!!
