“First trip to PI after 32 years.”

Although the Elevator was not working. The Hotel is only 6 floor and the staff were willing to help you at all times. The staff are all friendly willng to help with a smile. I felt like I was in Hawaii. Please tip the workers. 50 pesos is chump change for us and it the Thought that counts.

“Mabini Street Gem !”

I love the Philippines and the 5 days I spent at the Best Western were very comfortable. I was pleased with everything about the hotel. Of course there was no aircon in the hall...who cares. And it's on Mabini Street, typical local Philippines. The room was great, the staff was great and the food was great. I'll go back. If you're too spoiled and fret the little things then go stay at The Makati Shangi-la for $250.00 a night.

“Manila is fun city!!”

Before my wife and I have chosen Best Western Hotel La Corona Manila, we went back and forth reading reviews from others who have stayed there. We arrived Feb 17th, at 12:30 AM, and the elevator was still out of commission due to renovation. However, we did not meet any problem at all because, the hotel provided porters to carry our luggage into our room. We were satisfied from the very beginning. Morning breakfast is great, the food attendants were very courteous, even their trainees were good. Despite of some negative comments from the previous customers, we didn't find the hotel negligent of our needs. They are always attentive to our needs. Questions pertaining to the surroundings were answered diligently and was very helpful in giving us tips about travel to other locations. Daily newspaper is available, need a taxi, they will get one for you. Need breakfast deliver to your room, you will get. Need additional towel, they will provide. Of course, the hotel location is not like Waldorf Astoria like New York. The poverty and seedy environment didn't bother us at all. We walked around and familiarize ourselves and found the place with friendly people.

“Very Nice place to stay”

The hotel is very old but very well maintained. Very good service and they dont nickel and dime you for extras. We added extra people to the room for one night for a very resonable charge. The free breakfast Buffet was excellent and the surrounding area has plenty of Convenience stores etc. There is also live intertainment within walking distance.

“Will stay here again”

Have stayed here several times. Having stayed in many other hotels in the area this is our favorite hotel in Manila, can recommend the suites, great value for money, but book early, Superior rooms are a good second choice. Staff are excellent, breakfast buffet is adequate.

“A good week for three of us women”

the staff was very helpful....breakfast had a variety of foods.....rooms at the front on the main street can have noise, but the hotel as a whole was very quiet....hotel had drivers who could take you places

“Manilariffic”

Class hotel with outstanding staff! Neighborhood's a bit sketch, but from what I've seen in Manila, it was one of the better areas. No problems at all.

“Nice hotel, not a great area”

The hotel itself is great! The rooms were clean, the staff was always very nice and helpfull, and the free breakfast was always good. The area is not great, but there's always cabs that stop in front as soon as you walk out the door. There's local night life with live music, but i don't know if that's good or bad. It never bothered me, but you can hear the bands playing in the surrounding clubs. I would say that for the price, you can't beat it.

“Love my stay...”

I've stayed at a lot of hotels in manila and for best western not to be a 5 star it had five star servise and I cant wait to get back to manila and I hope that my stay will be at the best western....
