Very friendly hotel

Posted Nov 3, 2014
The hotel is a very friendly hotel in a prime location. We couldn't fault any staff member there, everyone was courteous and profession. It is in a good location in manilla with access to the malls, bars and rizal park.

Good stay

Posted Oct 16, 2014
Pros: As always, area good, staff good, rooms good
Cons: Organisation of staff roles and responsibilities during times of busy customer need
Location: Good restaurants within walking distance
I have used this hotel many times, I have always had good experiences and been welcomed by the reception staff on check-in. The only comment I have on this trip, was the disruption at breakfast, the hotel had a function on for a couple of days which caused the normal relaxed experience at breakfast , turn into an unorganised rabble, waiting for a table, there was no order, I was queue jumped by other guests due to no one person taking charge of the waiting guests, on the second day I even went to the hotel next door to avoid the chaos. But on a whole , I would stay again, but only on firstly checking that no functions are bookede

Nice stay at a nice hotel

Posted Oct 5, 2014
Pros: Location, cleanliness, staff.
Cons: The hotel transport to the airport is a bit expensive, but since my plane out was at 5:30 AM, I took it anyways (500 pesos).
Location: Money changers, Robinsons Mall, restaurants.
We had a few things to do before going to Palawan, so we stayed 2 nights here. Friendly staff, very nice breakfast, clean and comfortable room. Maybe a little far from the airport if you are just staying one night between flights, but on the other hand not that far. I needed to change some money and do a bit of shopping before heading to Puerto Princesa and this hotel is very well located for that. Money changers all over at good rates and Robinsons mall within easy walking distance. So all in all, a very nice stay and I will keep it in mind for my next trip to Manila.

Well located and equipped budget hotel in Malate

Posted Oct 1, 2014
Pros: Location, Breakfast (included in room rate), room facilities,
Cons: Improve complimentary Map of the immediate area - scant, inadequate map provided on back of hotel card.
Location: Luneta park, Museum of the Philippine People, National Museum
Spent 3 nights end Sept in a standard room. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Substantial breakfast included in room rate. Room has coffee/tea facilities and room safe. Hotel has an elevator. Needed to transfer from original room allocated on 3rd floor due to noise from renovations on 4th floor. Possible to walk to Luneta and associated museums. Many restaurants and bars in the vicinity. The surrounding area is down at heel and there are people sleeping on the sidewalk and associated beggar activity. Hotel draws guests attention to detailed security warnings relating to the immediate vicinity of the hotel.

Always a great place to stay in Manila.

Posted Sep 23, 2014
Pros: The free buffet is wonderful. The staff is always attentive and friendly.
I stay at the Best Western La Corona Hotel every time I am in Manila. The location is a little more difficult due to road construction and traffic, especially on Roxas Boulevard. Other than that, things were wonderful as always.

A great place to stay

Posted Sep 14, 2014
When its time for me to go and checked out, someone knocked my room but i didnt open it right away. someone opened the door and closed the door slowly. When i walked up and checkin who was there it was the hotel room boy asking me if what time im going to check out so i said in an hour. The question is "why they need to open the door w/o asking permission. while the guest is still inside the room.
