“Will not stay”
Had to move room, the carpet was very dirty. The new romm the sink would not drain Booked the club room and was put on a non club room, I asked an attendant because the first room had more amenities and why the room I was move to had very little.
“Stay at the Hyatt Hotel and Casino in Manila”
While I am not a big fan of Manila, I will say I felt quite comfortable staying at the Hyatt Hotel and Casino in downtown Manila. This was my second time staying there. I felt the staff was very professional and quite accommodating on every level and if Security is a concern of yours rest assured the hotel provides a phalanx of staff both uniformed and not.
“Hyatt Manila”
This is an older hotel but it is clean and nice. My room was large and it had a modern TV set. There is a casino in the hotel that is quite nice. Not Vegas but fun to walk around in and it has everything needed for some gambling distractions. I did not get out into the neighborhood so I won't comment on that but it is close to the airport and there is plenty to do inside of the hotel. It was a very enjoyable stay.
“Conviniently located near a big mall”
It is located near a big mall so being a character who forgets to pack things, I was able to buy a swimsuit and flippers with no problem. But one needs to know that there are POCKETPICKERS out there and I almost got mine picked and I caught him and about to turn him in to the police but there wasn't one around me. They do this strategically. Two people approaches with a pack of cigaretts and they will be on your both sides literally harrassing your arm. They touch your arm to distract you from other senses. And when a victim raises arm or shake them off, they go for your pocket. Don't FORGET!!!
“Good business hotel”
The hotel has a very convenient lounge where they serve continental breakfast as well as coffee and wine during day time. In the evening between 18:00-20:00 there are snack, beer and alcohol served. The rooms are good and convenient. Unfortunately, staying in a non-smoking room but not being a fanatic non-smoker, I was a few times troubled by cigarette smell in the room, which culminate at 03:00 on a Saturday morning where a couple of "ladies of the night" decided to smoke outside my room. Apart from the inconvenience of being woken up by the noise and nauseas smell, believe such breach of security and privacy should not happen in a hotel like Hyatt. Needless, to mention that I brought this to the attention of the management who confirmed my reporting from their security cameras.
“After Pan Pacific, only average”
My wife and I were in Philippines for a month working on her spouse visa and we stayed at 6 hotels. The Hyatt was not bad, but nothing exceptional. We had stayed at Pan Pacific around the corner and found it to be superior. The have wifi but only on the lower floors! So if you like to get a high floor with all the nice views and quiet from the city streets, you have only wired wifi. This is crazy for a hotel of this chain. Breakfast was average, but not bad and ample. The check-in clerk was ready to charge us and promoted their executive lounge until i had to find my printed reservation that showed breakfast was included. The TV was not flat panel. It was an old Sony WEGA style. Bath and shower were very good with nice amenities.
“Pay less, get more.”
My review was deleted so I'm not going to write another. Pass up this inferior overpriced hotel and stay in the Edsa Shangri-La for the same money or less and you'll get free internet that works, much better food, a nicer room and better location.
“Beautiful!”
Beautiful room, very clean, friendly staff.
“Hyatt Casino”
The hotel is quite nice, rooms spacious and security is top notch.
“Nice hotel, with great staff, not in the best area but could travel with no problem”
It was a nice hotel with great staff. I feel that the hotel is over rated as being a 5 star hotel it may be 3.5 star. The room was comfortable and clean.
