“So So!”

Hotel is conveniently located for many of Manila's tourist attractions. The room had the benefit of kitchen facilities, though the supply voltage seemed low causing the stove to struggle to get up to a sensible temperature for cooking. I shared the room with a mouse for the last three days that the staff seemed quite disinterested in doing anything about. In other respects the hotel was a pleasant stay - the door staff in particular were very helpful in getting taxis and giving advice.

Getting there

Manila has some of the worst taxi experiences in the world! On arrival at the airport dont use the taxis at the arrival level they seem to have meters that charge double rate or want you to pay excessive lumps sums for travel. The best advise is to go up to the departure level and get a metered taxi there that has just dropped off a departing passenger. Just make sure the driver turns the meter on!
