Good location in ChinatownPosted Feb 21, 2015
Cons: The availability of parking spaces should be improved. Wider selection for the breakfast buffet will also be appreciated
Location: It is right beside the Catholic Church. A lot of good restaurants within a few meters from the hotel. Vendors sell cheap vegetables and fruits nearby
The hotel's location was perfect for our plan to spend the Chinese New Year in Chinatown. It was located very near the Plaza San Lorenzo Ruiz where there was a mini concert on the New Year's eve. It is on Ongpin Street where the shops and festivities were. The hotel staff were very polite. The only downside was the lack of parking in the basement of the building. Only a few cars can be accommodated in the basement. There are around 4 slots available in front of the hotel, on the street. The nice hotel security guards looked after the cars parked on the street but scratches from pedestrians and vendors are always a threat.

CONVENIENTPosted Jan 26, 2015
Pros: EASY ACCESS TO WHERE I WNAT TO GO.
Cons: WISH THEY COULD FACILITATE THE CHECK OUT PROCEDURE BETTER (TIME WISE). AND IMPROVING THE TIME FOR GETTING STUFFS FROM ROOM SERVICE.
Location: FOODS THAT I LIKE IS WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE. CHURCH IS JUST ACROSS THE HOTEL.
THE HOTEL IS QUITE CONVENIENT FOR ME AND FOR MY RELATIVES AND FIRENDS TO VISIT. THE STAFFS ARE VERY NICE, COURTEOUS AND FRIENDLY.

Comfortable, very clean, friendly staffs.Posted Jan 21, 2015
Pros: location, budget accommodation, cleanliness, hospitable & friendly front desk staffs
Cons: quality of food & beverages being offered during breakfast. Improve the smell in the lobby of each floors especially as you get out of the elevator!
Location: Historical churches, University belt, China town, I enjoyed Eng Bee Tin cafe & their hopia (chinese pastry), noodles & soups. The President Restaurant
The rooms maybe simple BUT are impeccable. The front desk staffs I had encountered and asked for assistance were very friendly, courteous, hospitable and made sure my requests were met in a timely manner. Three wonderful front desk staffs deserve commendation that the management should be aware of; Shayne, Louise, The hotel's location is ideal in exploring Manila. I would highly recommend to the hotel management to improve the quality of food they serve for breakfast pertaining to freshness! The quantity they offer is more than enough. The coffee & juices are somewhat disappointing. Juices are watery, coffee is bland! Perhaps "air purifier" is necessary in the hallways for each floors. They somewhat smells putrid maybe because of its small size & Manila's air pollution. Overall, the hotel is ideal budget accommodation and I will come back again & recommend it to friends.

Beware of location, otherwise, good hotelPosted Jan 11, 2015
Had a problem with check in because I booked this hotel via Expedia but they couldn't confirm the Expedia credit card. Almost got charge double for the room but the staff worker was nice enough to help me and reassure that everything was taken care of. Hotel room was clean and comfortable. Noisy street didn't bother me because the AC drowns out the noise. Hotel window has a great view of the Binondo church called Minor Basilica of St. Lorenzo Ruiz. For those who are considering this hotel, beware of the location, as it is not the best in Manila. You will see homeless people and children sleeping everywhere on the streets. The closest mall is the Lucky Chinatown Mall, which is only a 7 minute walk. However, take caution when walking there because you will have to cross the street which could get dangerous. Also narrow sidewalks.

Nice hotel in historic Manila downtown, Chinatown.Posted Oct 9, 2014
Pros: Great value and staff was very attentive to our needs.
Cons: Steam room in the locker room would be awesome.
Location: Historic Binondo church. Fort Santiago,
Staff was very professional and accommodating to our needs. We needed a power converter/transformer for our 110 volts gadgets like electric toothbrush, laptop chargers, smartphone chargers, electric shavers, etc and we asked if we could borrow one if they had any. We were allowed to borrow theirs. Breakfast buffet was very tasty and varied each day. Great value for the price we paid for our room.

the hotel is centrally locatedPosted Oct 6, 2014
Cons: The room service attending calls need to be properly trained and to be more hospitable in dealing with the guests.
Well the room service staff needs to be more polite and the food menu is rather too short and needs to be more elaborate.
