Seda charges early check in and 3rd person bfastPosted Oct 13, 2013
Pros: It is very accessible and close to the airport plus walking distance to malls. You can feel safe walking on streets.
I arrived at the hotel around 12:30 pm and inquired if I can check in since we came straight from the airport. The front desk lady said no and that if I do, i will have to pay a charge for doing so. I was not even asked if I wanted to leave my luggage for safe keeping until I can check in at 2pm. I would have been forced to check-in early if my friend did not live at the nearby condo, Serendra. Also, I was charged for breakfast for one of my children in a room that allowed 3 guests. I checked again my Expedia reservation to see if the fine print indicated free breakfast for two only. I did not see that. The breakfast spread was not as impressive as the one at Seda in Cagayan de Oro City (and I was not charged for breakfast for the 3rd guest!). So beware of the misleading offer of free breakfast for the de luxe room--it is free for 2 guests only.

Pretty Nice HotelPosted Sep 2, 2013 on Hotels.com
It is a pretty new and nice hotel. We were mostly happy. But the room is small. The shower door doesn't seal well and has obvious gaps. The water leaked into the bath room floor pretty badly.

Room ConditionPosted Aug 5, 2013
Check in and check out was fast. Front desk people were quite friendly and helpful. Special mention to Clarrisa who helped me with web check in for my PAL flight. The only problem is that the first room we were assigned had a foul smell probably from the shower drain. We opened the shower hoping to wash away the smell. The result was overflowing of water. The engineer assigned to check insisted there was nothing wrong and the smell was normal. We had to call front desk and request for room transfer. It took a while but nevertheless we were transferred to a room beside which was obviously pleasant smelling. The following morning, we requested to take out some items left in the c.r. This time the housekeeping personnel was quick to notice the foul smell. Just wondering why a relatively new hotel like Seda had a room not properly maintained. Despite this, Seda is still a convenient place to stay. And I will still recommend friends to stay if they are in the area.

Beautiful, Clean hotelPosted Jul 31, 2013
Cons: Better shampoo/ conditioner products
Location: Can't beat location as it is adjacent to High Street for shopping/ walking.
I was pleasantly surprised with my experience at Seda. For a very modest amount, my mother, daughter and I stayed in a very clean, new appearing room with a modern contemporary look which included two free adult breakfasts. The staff were very friendly. Room service offered a wide variety of foods at reasonable prices. Kudos to the chef for one of the most tender steaks prepared for our order and delicious spinach artichoke dip with bread/crackers.

I normally stay at the Shang in Makati, but really like the Fort area. It has more green spaces, less dense and a much better place to run. Since I work in the call center industry, I'm working at night and sleeping during the day. So the only issue I have with Seda is the food. The breakfest they served was really breakfest, and at that point I'm looking for dinner. Other hotels I have stayed at in the past have done a better job providing different food options. The hotel is right on High street, which is great, but most places on High street don't open until 11AM which is getting close to bed time for me, it's not a hotel problem just an FYI. Regardless of the food, I would stay there again, it's just a much nicer area than Makati, more peaceful.....The Shang is opening in the Fort in 2014, when that happens I will probably move back to it due to the food.

Comfy beds/ good location for shoppingPosted Jul 17, 2013 on Hotels.com
the key card for my room has malfunctioned several times, and there's one time the hotel staff gave me access to the wrong room, and it was almost midnight. i sincerely hope the hotel will quickly rectify this. Other than this, the hotel is in good location for shopping and clubbing - i'm a explorer of the old manila, it's bit far from the old city but it's great place to come back and rewind

Good location and clean hotelPosted Jul 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
If you're looking for a clean hotel with great location, seda hotel it is. The hotel has a sleek style into it and the cleanliness of the hotel is one thing you'll really appreciate. It is located at the fort so all you need is a good walk for your shopping destination including hang out. It would be great if they improve on customer service as I had to call twice just for my room to be made up. Would still come back to this hotel and recommend to my friends.
