“Nice hotel for a family”
This is our second time to stay at the Linden Suites. We stayed at the 3brdrm unit. Very comfortable especially for families traveling in the Philippines. I will surely stay there again next time me and my family will go back there in the Philippines. The only thing missing in there are pots and pans so I can cook the dishes that I really like. The hotel is just a few blocks away from Mega Mall. Very convinient
“You Can Do Much Better”
An unannounced fire drill at 9am on a Saturday and an uncaring hotel management is enough to ensure I'll never go back.
“Convenient and affordable”
Conveniently located near the SM Megamall. The hotel itself is very clean and the staff is professional and accommodating. We stayed for two and a half weeks and we felt right at home. The hotel also boasts a fine gym and indoor pool.
“Great location in Central Manila”
Love staying at this hotel as it is centrally located and mega mall with lots of restaurants and shops only walking distance. I love how spacious the three bedroom unit is with the open living and dining areas and a separate kitchen.
“DAN”
highly recommend on this pricing rate.
“A Winner in the Philippines”
Quite satisfied. Staff was very helpful with one exception, and every establishment will have a bad egg. Breakfast was exceptional - try the Tocino with eggs and rice - and very much worth waking up for. Beds are comfortable, and the living area was spacious enough for guests. The only real complaint I have is the bathtub. It's rather slippery, and the bath mat didn't seem to want to stay suctioned down. Add to that the fact that it's significantly raised, and a couple of slips led to some nice bruising on my knees. Still, that one blemish does little to mar the experience. I'll be returning to Manila in the future... Needless to say, I'll have Linden at the top of my short list.
“Not Impressed”
No one from the hotel showed up at the airport to shuttle me to the hotel. Expedia mentioned that the ride will cost me "x". That was also a shocker but no one showed up. I finally used the airport hotel lounge to shuttle me to the hotel for the amount of "y" pesos, which is way cheaper. Then, when I got there, they could not find me in their computer until I showed them the print-out copy from Expedia. It took three staffers to validate the printed form from Expedia. The delay from the airport and the inconvenience in the hotel registration were not acceptable. The next day, I went down for the "buffet" which was presented by expedia as part of the package was not included. Thus, I ended up paying a breakfast buffet in the amount of "z" dollars because the printed copy from expedia did not state that buffet was included. I found that the value of the buffet was not acceptable since Expedia mentioned that buffet was included in that hotel package. Again, not acceptable. I also used the internet service which again is not free. The room was very nice. The gym was acceptable, and the swimming pool was really nice. Overall, the service regarding the airport pick-up, the registration bungle, the cost of the internet service and the buffet issue really ruined the visit to this hotel. I highly recommend to look for another hotel given the inconvenience and additional hidden expenses.
“great hotel, good price and value”
The hotel was great in every aspects. Mind you i hired a taxi stand by for me all the time. It only cost 300 peso an hour or less than $9 CAD. So i have no idea about the transportation.
“Very nice for this price”
Hotel staff is always very courteous and helpful, rooms large and clean with everything you need for a your stay in Manila, short or long. Very close to a major mall, so casual dining and shopping are a short 5 minute walk away. 30 minutes from airport, when traffic is light, more like 45 minutes, otherwise.
“Have reviewed this hotel before!!”
Everything is just as excellent as it was the 2 times we stayed before. The only complaint that we would like to see corrected is the unjustified cost of using their unsecured internet. $10.80 US Dollars for a 24hrs is a bit steep. They should really include this item for free like other hotels. An internet cafe is much cheaper & more secure. A hotel of this quality just seems a bit greedy for charging for the use of this service. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for travelers/ families & just about anyone who like a clean up to date establishment. Service is superior and the breakfast buffet is simply outstanding! The staff should be commended for their above excellence in the performance of their assigned tasks!
