Nice, clean, convenient

Pros: Close the midway with an easy route via back roads. Close to shopping and restaurants. Reasonably priced. Beds were comfy and staff was friendly.
Cons: no
Location: Close to malls and restaurants.
This hotel was easy to get to and was convenient to shopping, restaurants and close to the mid-way track (where my daughter was working for a couple of days). The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful and I was pleased to find that when I purchased snacks in the lobby they were not overpriced - I bought 2 waters and a candy bar and paid roughly $3 (not like the typical mark up in hotels where a candy bar alone would be $3). The breakfast was the typical breakfast served at Hampton Inns - which was sufficient for us. The rooms were clean, quiet and comfy. I would definitely stay here again.

Disappointing for the price paid

Pros: Great to see electrical sockets on the bedside lamp.
Cons: Expensive King room lacked the expected couch, so no comfortable seating for two except bed -- not usual Hampton Inn quality.
Location: Short drive from I-71. Convenient to fast food restaurants and gas station.
I rely on Hampton Inns to be the best sleepover spots on the road and am willing to pay a premium for the pleasure. However, this one was sub-standard. We reserved a King room, which usually comes with a comfortable couch and coffee table or foot rest so that you can relax without having to lie on the bed. This room had only a stained arm chair. I did complain when the Desk called to see how things were, but they didn't offer any remedies. The toilet had a very weak flush and wobbly seat. The non-smoking room didn't smell particularly fresh (paint?), although the air conditioning controls worked properly and got some circulation going. On the plus side, it had a small refrigerator (no freezer) and microwave. There were electrical sockets and usb ports on the lamp by the bed (wow!). The wireless internet was decent and free. And the bed was extremely comfortable.
