Great Second ChoicePosted Oct 18, 2013
Pros: Price and convenience.
Cons: It's an older building which needs a bit of updating. Facilities somewhat dated but certainly livable.
Location: Close to expressway and downtown Bucyrus.
There are only 2 motels in Bucyrus, Ohio, and the Knights Inn is at least half the price of its only competitor. Since I was traveling alone and staying only one night (less than 12 hours) it was a no brainer choice. It was clean, quiet and I felt secure in my room. Very nice front desk staff. I'd use it again.

STAY AWAY!!! --- BUYER BEWAREPosted Aug 6, 2013 on Hotels.com
Condition of the room was extremely poor. The carpets are dirty. The air conditioning in my room didn't work. I called down to the front desk and he said he would come up and look at it. He pushed all of the buttons, just like I did and said I guess its not working. He move me to another room across the hall where the air was working. When I first got into the first room I put some water into the refrigerator. Someone left a partial 1/2 gallon milk in the refrigerator. The refrigerator looked like it hadn't been cleaned out in a long time. The same thing for the microwave. When I got to the new room I checked the refrigerator and microwave out and they were both disgusting. I went to turn on the lights by the bed and found it unplugged. I plugged the lights in and behind the nightstand was filthy.. The bathroom sink leaked around the faucet. I noticed that there was a big pool of water under the sink ( I think they have a major leak). The hotel is located in the middle of nowhere. I thought about just sleeping in my car, but didn't feel safe. They offer wi-fi, but I was told by the front desk that it didn't work in the rooms and I would need to come down to the lobby to get connected. I would NEVER, NEVER, NEVER stay in this HOTEL AGAIN!!!!

The place is either getting ready for a remodel or closing. The check in area was boarded up and you had to check in via a temporary setup.

Needs ImprovementPosted Jan 7, 2009 on Hotels.com
When we went into the hotel they did not believe we had a reservation with the paper that was given from this website. The toilet had pubic hair all over the back and the seat was broke and would not stay in place when you sat down. My husband is 5' 11 and i am 5' 8 could not take a shower without bending over the shower head was that low. Heating of the room was very bad could not get it adjusted. Had to get up and down all night long to adjust the heat. Would not stay at this hotel again they say it is remodeled yet everything is falling apart. VERY BAD!!!!

Not set up to be impressive.Posted May 31, 2006
If you don't need chocolates on your pillow or jacuzzi whirlpool, but only need a place to crash for the night, this motel is for you. The big draw for me was the Mexican restaurant and bar advertised but had closed when I arrived, (out of business). Beds were adequate and they finally turned on the ice machine soon after I arrived at the request of my neighbor.
