The staff was very friendly and accommodating. It was a very good price for a beach front hotel. I recommend it if you're going to Bahia de Caracaquez.

A good hotel with a great price pointPosted Jun 2, 2013
Pros: The staff and the restaurant which serves vegetables which are scarce in restaurants in Ecuador.
Location: The hotel is in a good location at the end of town where it is quiet, but you can walk anywhere or take a pedicab.
The hotel is right on the ocean so you can hear the waves at night if you don't use your air conditioning. When the tide is out, you can walk the beach right from the hotel. I saw workers making repairs and painting and was impressed with the fact that such care was taken with upkeep, but then I learned that there was going to be a large wedding reception and the entire hotel was reserved for the guests. Now I am not so impressed with the upkeep. The staff was great and very helpful, always with a smile. I would definitely go back.
