ParadisePosted May 12, 2015
Pros: Peaceful and quiet with amazing views. Great place to forget about normal life and sit back and relax. The small swimming in the villa.
Cons: The room could do with a bit of work + on our way home the hotel transportation from the port did not arrive lucky we found a taxi slightly stressful.
What an amazing break for the whole family where children are embraced. A great surprise when we arrived was that our room was upgraded. The staff were amazing, warm and welcoming. Food superb and was made even better by the views across to Phuket or the band in the evening. Swimming pools perfect for the children. Perfect and how to head back next year.

terrible servicePosted Mar 3, 2015
The hotel is worn out and old, the rooms need to be cleaned better. The worst about this hotel is the service. Overall, very disappointing vacation.

Vi kommer gjerne igjenPosted Jan 12, 2015 on Hotels.com
Flotte villaer i praktfulle omgivelser.

Pros: Die Location.

Your private island!Posted Jan 4, 2015
Pros: The privacy, the location, the villa
Cons: The food
We just stayed at the hotel for 1 week and celebrated the New Year there and it was a great experience. The hotel was not overcrowded like in Phuket. The staff is great, very helpful, especially Davina and Judy. The food choices could be improved as there are not many choices of western food, which I personally didn't mind but my son is a picky eater when it comes to asian food. There is an extensive kid's food menu but most of the dish come with fries.... You can bike around the island but the bikes don't have baby seats. Besides that, the villas are great, the bathroom grandiose! We loved that we could jump in our private pool whenever we felt like it without going to the hotel's pool. We enjoyed our stay and will go back.

A good place for a family holidayPosted Dec 2, 2014 on Hotels.com
The Village Coconut Island would be an excellent place for a family holiday if not for two things: 1) The boat that takes you to mainland Phuket lands in the middle of nowhere, so if you want to get somewhere it will take an hour to get there and cost about 1000 bht or more. This is inconvenient if you plan to see a lot of Phuket. 2) The water by the beach was not clear, which meant that not many swam in it. I'm sure it was clean, but the sand only reached about 10m in to the water, after which the bottom became muddy. There's a nice beach with clear waters a short boat ride away, but once again, you need to go to another place. Having mentioned the negatives, however, I must conclude by saying that it really was an excellent vacation that we had. The Village Coconut Island really was a good place for a family holiday. It might have been an even better place for a romantic holiday with the wife.
