“Would go back in a second!!!!!”

We were very satisfied with our visit. As a matter of fact we got more than we ever expected. Only wished they had a restaurant there.

“We will be back!”

The hotel is a bit pricey, but well worth the money. We spent a day at the pool, and playing on the beach. We are considering renting a villa next year, and bringing another family. We had a great time, and there was so much to do. Our kids ( 8 and 10) begged to stay a few extra days.

“quaint lake side hotel”

This hotel was everything I hoped for. The manager was very helpful & nice. It was decorated in a nautical theme w/blues & yellows. The manager told us about places to visit, restaurants nearby, etc. My son even lost his blankie there(which if you have a 2 yr old-you know is a major crisis). They went above & beyond to find it for him. We are already planning a longer romantic trip back w/o the kids. We loved it!!!! By the way, they have a romantic pkg. It includes dinner for 2 @ Clippers, rose petals on the bed & much more.

“Pleasantly surprised”

Decided to stay here on a trip to OH where we visited Cedar Point and Put-in-Bay. Both are within a half hour of the hotel. Hotel is a bit off the main roads, but was extremely well kept. Staff were pleasant and very accommodating. Room was quaint, but very clean and well maintained. Would certainly stay here again.

“Quaint and Relaxing!!”

What a wonderful hotel!! Very clean and the little things just kept coming! The kids enjoyed having the beach, two hotels, play areas - I appreciated the small extras such as name brand bath items (loved that!!). Quick and easy drive to Lighthouse and State Park, as well as other attractions. Kids enjoyed the "old person" game (shuffleboard). There is something for everyone - very relaxing and low key hotel! Thank you - this was a perfect ender to the go go go of the amusment park!

“Will return”

We stayed in the hotel, which was very nice, but next time we might try one of their cottages. It's a great place for kids and adults with plenty of outside activities for both. Also has it's own boat docks for Lake Erie.

“Sittin' on the dock of the bay”

Hotel was clean and well maintained. The location is serene and the grounds are very well kept. The continental breakfast is an added touch. I would stay again, no doubt.

“Pool”

Too bad the pool wasn't ready for use - it was 85 degrees last weekend! Breakfast should be described as continental as it was minimal - cereal, juice and small rolls

“Good for my kids”

Nice place, lots of space. Kids enjoyed the play area and three pools. The beach was small.

“Caution about Queen View Room”

We were excited about a room with a balcony and a view. However, when we arrived and our balcony (#216) was looking at the side of a cottage we were not impressed. We talked to the management and they said that "the view" refers to the balcony not the water and that travelers who book with them get the rooms with the actual view of the water. This was very disappointing. Also, there was a $10 charge daily for a microwave and also for a refrigerator if you want one brought to your room for your stay. Not a bad thing, just wish I would have known.
