“Great hotel for relaxation!”

Hotel was great, but service is a bit slow. More on Caribbean time than East Coast time. Not much nightlife at the hotel, but its in a gorgeous setting and very relaxing

“Great hotel, nice spacious room and bathroom”

Friendly staff. Room was excellent, very spacious, bathroom is huge. Ate dinner at the hurricane hole, most amazing staff there. Breakfast was excellent, everything u need. Will most definitely stay there again. Love St. Lucia!

“Discovery at Marigot Bay in St Lucia”

My husband and I just returned from 10 days at the Discovery Bay in St Lucia. We had a fabulous time and the hotel and are were wonderful. Our room was upgraded to a 1 bedroom suite on the top floor and we had everything (plus) that we could possibly need. The staff were all very professional and helpful, not to mention friendly. We have stayed on many other Caribbean islands in the past and fund St Lucia to be among the top for friendly and hard working people. Staying in this area was a real pus as it is more mixed with the local community than the northern stretch of the island where many of the hotels are found. This allowed us to actually meet and get to know a few couples that live there who guided us to ding the things most tourists never know about and what was not to be missed. It really made our trip wonderful.

“Marigot Bay Genuine Caribbean Paradise”

Fabulous. One of the best experiences of hotel stays ever. The hotel and facilities are clean and modern. Beautiful room, pool and restaurants that maintained an intimate atomosphere. Setting on Marigot was beatiful and tasteful. Service from everyone was perfect, warm and friendly. Especially liked the free water sports activities. We used the Hobie cat for sailing in the bay. Good winds and good fun. The main restaurant was elegant. The bar area restaurant was great! Presentation and taste was very good. We connected with the hotel for an afternoon and sunset sail to the Pitons on a beautiful catamaran with another couple. Liked it so much, we did a two day sail on the same, "Fennessy", to Martinique. Chad and Dawn are wonderful and interesting hosts. Saw a whale and caught a 3 ft Wahoo that we ate at anchor in Fort de France harbor that evening. Action packed and relaxing vacation. We enjoyed the harbor action with mega yachts coming in and out. Best choice in St. Lucia if you are not into big chain hotels

“Very relaxing”

The hotel was exactly what we expected and more. Very quiet and serene. Some traffic heard behind the rooms, but that is only because of the large hill cars are occasionally attempting to climb. If you are looking for a beach, this is not the place. My husband and I were more than happy relaxing by the pool all day and order food and drinks via the swim-up bar. We got all the relaxation and decompression we were looking for.

“Truly the best vacation ever!”

My husband and I had a 5 night stay which we throughly enjoyed. The one bedroom suite overlooking the bay was absolutely beautiful. The suite was cleaned and refrigerator restocked each morning; the bed was turned down each night with the mosquito netting draped around the bed - very romantic. The beach across the bay was not enticing, but the two pools at Discovery more than made up for it. Poolside service from the bars was great. Breakfast was very good, whether selecting from the buffet or ordering a la carte; lunch at the Hurricane Hole was fabulous. We ate at the resort's dining room one night; the food and service was wonderful. The marina shops were a short walk away and offered some shopping opportunities. We highly recommend Discovery for anyone looking for a restful, relaxing getaway.

“Happy Holiday”

My only suggestion as an adult without children, is i would have liked an area eg. the infinity pool exclusively for adults only, other wise there is no way to get a quiet and relaxing time at any of the pools. I like children, however i do not see the need to allow children in both areas. The big pool is certainly enough for families to enjoy.

“A GREAT HIDEAWAY IN THE CARIBBEAN!!!”

THE HOTEL WAS GREAT! VERY PRIVATE AND SECLUDED. FAIR SERVICE AT THE POOL. BUT PRETTY TYPICAL FOR THE CARIBBEAN. THE ROOMS WERE LARGE, CLEAN AND VERY CONVENIENT. WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND...........
