Beautiful hideout not far from the City

Posted Jun 8, 2015
Pros: It has a lot of character, and not in the bad way.
While it is obvious that the buildings are old, they are immaculate. The staff were all very helpful and nice, and if you like a city view across water, you won't beat this one. We had breakfast in the restaurant, and it was very good. If we were staying longer (and didn't have a wedding to go to) we would have checked out the spa and bar. I think it would be great for a whole family getaway, too.

Peaceful spot a stone throws from the city

Posted Jan 12, 2015
Spent 2 lovely nights in this fantastic hotel. Everything was wonderful, the spa, the restaurant, the staff. The only downside would be it was a little bit pricey. We had planned to stay one night and after loving the first we stayed a second. As it was a Sunday night it would have been nice if the staff offered us a new room with a view prehaps check that you can get a room with a view as it would make the experience even more memorable... All in all ill be back a very romantic place to unwind or explore.

Nice Family Getaway

Posted Jan 5, 2015 on Hotels
We wanted to stay in Sausalito for New Year's Eve and enjoyed the children's museum nearby with our kids. The area is gorgeous and quiet. The day was also beautiful and there are small trails nearby which we also enjoyed with our kids. When we checked into our hotel, we found that it was not only a contemporary room, it was a new building as well. We were really hoping to have a old building with the contemporary feel inside. It was nice nonetheless. I feel that this is a nice place to get away with or without the kids. There is plenty to do and beauty abounds this place.

Great If You Don't Use The Internet

Posted Oct 25, 2014
Pros: The location
Cons: They need working internet.
Location: Right across the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco.
Very nice, expensive hotel in a great location. We take working vacations and the internet did not work half the time at this hotel. How hard is it to have working internet for your guests, especially in San Francisco?
