Perfect Location for what we needed.Posted Nov 10, 2013
Pros: The indoor pool was a hit with the kids and the included breakfast was important to us parents.
Traveling with a family of 5 with young children, hotels are difficult. Embassy suites has a solution where we can all stay in together which is a necessity.

Horrible HotelPosted Oct 29, 2013
Pros: horrible hotel. am telling everyone we know not to stay in Embassy Suites in San Rafael, Ca.
Cons: where would I start?
Dirty dishes in hallway. Broken open lotion bottle on carpet in hall with lotion all over carpet. Still there the following morning. No quilts on bed and when room service called to send up blankets (cold night) we were brought fitted mattress pads for blankets. Stuffy room and when we opened window (on second floor) there were no screens on window. Left at 5:30 a.m. and complained about everything and were told that because we had booked through Expedia there was nothing they could do for us but that we would have to deal with Expedia for compensation for our horrible stay. The savings through Expedia was only $10.

ComfortablePosted Oct 18, 2013
Convenient location in Marin, close to freeway. Bedroom window was left open which we did not realize until our departure. Bedroom was freezing. Room has a smell. Other than that, pleasant stay and very roomy consistent with embassy suites.

A short stayPosted Oct 14, 2013
The suite was spacious and clean. Checking in and out was effortless the way we like it to be. The complimentary breakfast was very good.

Nice hotel but timeliness of food service was badPosted Oct 7, 2013
Pros: We liked the atmosphere.
Cons: Food service, food service, food service!
Location: It is close to Corte Madera, Golden Gate Bridge, and San Francisco
Our experience would have been great if we didn't eat at the hotel. The first night, we ate in the dining room. It took us 45 minutes after ordering to get our food. There were only 2 other tables at the time, and waiters were standing around doing nothing. This was at 8:00 at night. The next morning we went for breakfast, to find all the food cold, and a spider crawled out of the cereal canister (buffet breakfast). That night we decided to try again. We were told it would be a 45 minute wait. We decided to take our name off the list and get a pizza. We called the local pizza place for delivery and were told 2 pizza's and 2 salads would be $85. Too much! We again tried to go to the restaurant, and were told they were too busy, and we should do room service. (They had a whole other wing they could open, but told us they couldn't). We went back to our room, called room service to be told it would be an hour and a half wait. Forget it! We ate sandwich meat we had from lunch!

Nice but not noteworthyPosted Oct 3, 2013
The front desk staff was friendly but not overly so. The staff in the restaurant were very courteous and helpful. A made to order breakfast and parking are included in the room rate which is a plus. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with a small fridge and microwave. The one negative is the hotel feels like it is in the middle of nowhere. There didn't seem to be anything close by as in walking distance. Overall a nice place to stay if you are just looking for lodging.

Comfortable stayPosted Sep 29, 2013
Location: The hotel is very close to the Northgate Mall & many restaurants. It is also very close to the 101 with fairly easy access to & from the freeway.
I had a good stay - I liked the room, free breakfast, location and fitness center. I did not like the charge for internet services - I think that is pretty ludricrous. That is my only complaint. Otherwise, everything was great.
