Distance from point reyes station inaccurate

Posted Jan 20, 2015
Air conditioner loud. Shower screamed when water was run. Coffee pot non functioning. View out window was of garbage on the ground from construction. Inaccurate directions given on how to get to room. Beds were comfortable. Overall not much better than a motel 6 except for beddin linens and towels. Small bathroom.

Didn't meet our expectations

Posted Jan 10, 2015
Pros: The pillows were comfortable and it was close to the main highway.
Cons: The carpet was old & torn. Shades were worn out. There was not a frig in the room. Ice machine was broken. Add a continental breakfast.
Location: It was close to Mill Valley & the Golden Gate.
We were in the area to visit friends and revisit the area where we lived during our first year of marriage. We picked Four Points because it was close to Mill Valley and the Four Points in our hometown is one of the best in town. The hotel was quiet but is in need of updating. The carpet in our room had a couple of places where it was torn and the shades for the windows were starting to rip. The room did not have a small frig and the ice machine down the hall was out of order. Also the hotel does not offer a complimentary continental breakfast which has been standard for all other hotels we have stayed out over the years. We do not plan to stay at the Four Points in the future.

Staff put me in a quiet area which I really needed after air travel. Very accommodating. Hot tub was very nice too.

Pleasantly surprised

I had to book multiple rooms on short notice, so this was only hotel available. To my pleasure, it was clean and comfortable. The staff was very nice. I recommend.

Noise from Christmas party kept us from sleeping.

Posted Dec 15, 2014
Everything was fine with the hotel except the food which was nothing special for a hotel of that caliber. They had scheduled a holiday party that was going until 10:45 and the bass from the music kept us awake until....10:45. We tried earplugs and pillows over our heads but neither worked.

Not sure I'd stay again

Posted Dec 15, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: See above
Location: Was there for family event, there is shopping and restaurants near y.
Room is in need of repair, curtains were ripped, TV was not in proper working order (maintenance said they did not have another TV to switch, but did we want to move rooms? No. Not as clean as I would like. Dropped something on the floor at the side of the bed and it was filthy down there. No one cleans under the night table or along the side of the bed.

Great location, great value

Posted Dec 15, 2014
Pros: The rooms were a nice size, bigger than usual. The dining area was very clean and bright. Lots of windows. Easily accessible from the freeway.
Cons: The hallway carpeting appeared dated and dirty. I like a little softer bed, but it was OK.
Location: We went to Guide Dogs for the Blind for our puppy's graduation. There's a mall right across the street, otherwise there's San Francisco!
They made a change to our room which was very good, I had booked a king but needed 2 queens. They comped us breakfast which was delicious and very top notch. The bed linens were very nice, down comforters and super nice sheets. Our room was next to the freeway so that was a bit noisy, but with earplugs it was fine. The fitness center has really good equipment and they provided bottled water, towels, and it was very large. Everything was clean and staff was very helpful and kind.

Housekeeping Optional

Posted Dec 8, 2014
Pros: Leaving it, all of the desk staff seemed very upset every time we tried to interact with them. The only good interaction was with the restaurant staff
Cons: Provide housekeeping as one expects when staying several nights in a hotel and don't question the guest like it's the inquisition.
Returned to my room after a long day to find there was no housekeeping done. The staff insisted I put a sign on he door that requested not to have housekeeping. I didn't put a sign on the door. Then we had to wait for someone to come bay and clean up the room. I had requested to be contacted by the night manager, but never received a call.
