Many of Vitoria’s most interesting sights are located within easy reach of Mariquioca, so it is a popular place to stay or visit on a day trip. Two attractions that should be at the top of every visitor’s list is the wonderful Itapebussu Lagoon and the much-loved Lua de Prata Lagoon. See local sporting heroes, the Guarapari Esporte Clube, take to the field in the nearby Davino Mattos Stadium, Guarapari. On game days follow the river of red, white and black, to the stadium, then after the full-time hooter blows, join fellow sports lovers in the nearby pubs for a few post-game beers.
