Great HotelPosted Aug 28, 2013 on Hotels.com
Quite hotel perfect for romantic and family getaways. Close to Gorcek but not too close. The owners were very nice and the staff were very friendly and attentive.

Chilling by the pool in the pine forestPosted Jun 30, 2013
Pros: Host works hard to make your stay work for you. We used the garden to do an impromptu yoga session. grounds well kept - wonderful plants and trees
Location: Gocek is a big yachting centre. Great choice of restaurants. Upmarket with some impressive boats. But nice little shops and Turkish warm welcome.
Great Hotel tucked away in the pine forest. 15 minute walk from the centre of Gocek. Diligent staff who care unobtrusively. Spend the day chilling by the pool supported by a good bar and luncheon. Wander down to the town centre at night. Thanks

Relaxing end to our holidayPosted Aug 12, 2012 on Hotels.com
We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Forest Gate. It's about a 15 min walk from the port and nestled right next to the forest (hence the name!). The pool was lovely and the rooms nice and cool (we had just been on a gulet for a week, so this was heavenly!). I would stay again - we were already planning a longer trip there the last day of our stay!

Stay among the forestPosted Jul 10, 2012
It was a good location with a nice service.Small, clean and comfortable stay among the pine trees.
Perfect Location in GocekPosted Jun 21, 2012 on Hotels.com
The Forest Gate represents tremendous value for money. I understand it has just been upgraded to 3 stars - if the rooms were re-furbished it would warrant 4 stars. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Delightful pool and plenty of room for sunbathing. Gocek Marina is a 10 minute walk but the hotel location is far enough away to be very peaceful - bar the odd barking dog. I would strongly recommend this hotel.

a tranquil get-away from the noise and bustlePosted Jun 15, 2012 on Hotels.com
We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were very polite and attentive. The pool was very clean and well kept. We were there at a very quiet period and it was very tranquil. It is a 15-20 minute trek into town so it's worth bringing a torch and getting used to the route by day (actually straightforward when you know). The hotel could do with an up to date menu as otherwise it was hard to plan for evening meals. The breakfast was great though. The room was very clean and well maintained.

A great place to stayPosted Oct 28, 2011 on Hotels.com
A very friendly hotel, large clean rooms, a pool and very quiet surroundings. 10/15 minute pleasant walk to town. Right on the edge of a forest. Highly recommended.
