Location is convenient and service is good. Owner and staff were very helpful. Breakfast is good enough to start the day. We were given a room with balcony overlooking the street which was a bonus.The owner kindly helped to arrange the transportation to the airport. Highly recommended!

Nice hotel run by pleasant people
Very nice overall. Comfy bed and room. Bathroom had a drain stink though that wouldn’t go away and was a bit dirty but not offensively so.

Worth a stay
First time stayed at the hotel moved From bad different one to here clean had Wi-fi in the room which is very rear for me breakfast wasn’t bad either should be a 3 star rating

Enjoyed my stay.
This hotel is fantastic value with friendly helpful staff / owner. The room was comfortable with all you need, including a fridge which was nice. The location is set back from the front line, but everything is walking distance. I would return without hesitation.

Lovely property
We were only one block off the main street that heads to the sea. The room was very pleasant and the breakfasts were varied and well prepared. Loved the french toast! The staff were friendly and helpful. For a small fee we had our laundry done.

It is a basic hotel but the staff are very friendly giving you plenty of information on the area. It was absolutely perfect for what I was needing as it was just a short stay so spent most of the time exploring Marmaris. Great location, great staff everything you need would recommend.

Very well run. Managers/owners speak good English and are very helpful. About two blocks off the beach on a main street with many shops and services. Rooms are moderately well insulated against noise, but not completely. Probably at the top in terms of value comparison with other hotels (about $27 per night in shoulder season).

Wished we could have stayed longer
Hotel is situated only a few blocks from the beach and ferry port. Very clean and accommodating. Good breakfast, great staff. Sunday morning found us with funds for a cab to the ferry. We were going to walk it with heavy bags and the manager insisted in driving us in his own car. This would be a very choice for a week's stay in a beach resort town.

Otel Dost was a one-nighter in Marmaris for us before a gulet cruise. It was walking distance to the beach, main boulevard and marina (preferably not with baggage!). We were upgraded and our room was spacious as well as spotless. Ibrahim was very welcoming and extremely helpful at all times; he made some calls for us which saved some angst. We did not use the pool during our stay. There are supermarkets just across the road.

Little Gem
Otel Dost was our last stop before leaving Turkey for Greece. The room was comfortable and suited our needs. More importantly Ibraham and his staff at Otel Dost were fantastic - friendly and personable. Nothing was too much trouble. There is also a quality patisserie down the road.

Great value for money. Only 2 comments for improvement: mattress is not for sleeping more then one night and some local milk products for breakfast, not everyone is a fan of British breakfast

A fabulous hotel with wonderful service...
The owners take great pride in learning all of the guests names and even eating habits. From fabulous breakfasts to lots of little unexpected services provided, we loved everything about our stay. We feel as though we gained a couple of family members. OUTSTANDING!!!

Nice hotel
We stayed at this hotel for three nights. The location was great, a number of supermarkets and lots of restaurants around. A few minutes walk from the beach, castle and museum, and bazaar. The room was large, comfortable and clean. Shower was very good. There was a balcony in our room. Internet was fast. Breakfast was very nice. If you are a great fan of the pool (we are not), this is probably not the place for you, as the pool is on the other side of the road.

Small friendly hotel in the centre of Marmaris with everything close at hand. Our room was a good size with balcony. The only reason I didn't give top marks was that the beds weren't too comfortable. Breakfast was great with a toast machine and lots of choice. swimming pool was empty when we stayed so had this to ourselves. Staff friendly and made us feel so welcome.

Nice little place. Was very impressed with the owner at having breakfast ready for us prior to usual opening time so we could get to our ferry. He also gave us a lift to the ferry terminal without expectation of us paying! Very generous.

I arrived early and staff was very accomodating. My room was ready after a short wait. The hotel is family owned and operated. The rooms are small, but they are nice and clean and in good repair. The shower is small but has good water pressure. A very good complimentary breakfast is offered with the freshest, most delicious produce which is grown in the family's garden. The tomatoes are out of this world! I stayed two nights on different occassions. My first room had a wonderful balcony. My second room did not have a private balcony, but had a nice outdoor patio close by. I would definately stay at this hotel again, it is an excellent value.

Close to the beach, grocery store; owners and staff are warm and welcoming. Great place for staying with a family, with a pool and small terrace for gathering. One room included a small kitchenette; breakfast was good quality. Neighborhood had restaurants, and small shops, but was quiet at night.

Enjoyed my time at Dost!
Overall, I truly enjoyed my stay at Dost Hotel. I was there for one night because I had to catch the ferry early the following morning. This hotel was reasonably priced and in a great location! PROS: Clean room, friendly staff, great location-beach within walking distance (5 mins), restaurants nearby, the owner offered to take me to the ferry station the next morning which was also close by (10-15 mins) CONS: I was only there for one night so there is not much that I can stay with regard to the cons. The breakfast could be a little better/more varitey but other than that...overall, great hotel!
