Fantastic location

Pros: Location, peace and quiet, beach and pool. relaxed and friendly. great restaurant at Yacht club next door, food quite good in hotel too.
Cons: chairs in bedroom, glasses for mini bar, smarten up outside furniture, matching table clothes etc, seat cushions, gardens and get staff in uniform
Location: Lovely simple rural, unspoilt beach location. was great and we were joining a Gullet boat which came to collect us from hotel.
Have stayed here twice - first time 3yrs ago. Love it for the location away from it all and fab beach and pool. Many small things that could be done to make it so much better like chairs in bedroom, glasses for drinks in mini bar, smarten up outside furniture, matching table clothes etc, seat cushions, gardens and get staff in uniforms (i'm talking smart shorts and polo shirts) but as in chill mode can overlook. feels like it needs an experience hotelier to give it some TLC.

Nice and quiet hotel

Posted Sep 15, 2013
Pros: The menu was good and the food excellent.
Cons: It's down to attention to detail. This hotel could easily be a four star, currently 3 star? Maybe it was end of season, but that should not count.
Location: The Hotel is isolated which is its charm, not ideal for children although there were a few.
We had a two night stop here before we boarded a Gulet on their private jetty. Our group of 10 had no problems with the hotel or the staff; we all come from hospitality backgrounds and could be ultra-critical. However, at very little expense the standards in this hotel could be upgraded. The gardens looked tired and some areas uncared for, sunbeds could be replaced or new mattresses. The assortment of chairs in the restaurant area should be grouped around tables and tables would look so much better with matching table cloths and the staff all wearing some sort of uniform rather than their own t-shirts. The food was excellent! The rooms were clean and comfortable but had varying standards for tea making facilities (some has kettles and no tea/coffee). Talking to the managers, the hotel is leased. There have been difficulties with water supplies being turned off, but they say that was an isolated incident.
