Marotta Vacations

"Benvenuto" to Marotta, set in Marche, which is a popular place known for its breathtaking beaches, rivers and mountains.

Marotta is located some 130 miles (209 kilometers) from Rome, the national capital, and about 95 miles (153 kilometers) from Florence.

Visiting just one town or city, regardless of its popularity, will only ever furnish you with a narrow window into the wider personality of a region. So try to allow a few days to tour Marche's other sights and attractions. Visit the Teatro Rossini and ADRIATIC Arena in and around Pesaro, some 15 miles (24 kilometers) to the southeast of Marotta.

When you are ready to head further afield beyond Marotta, why not visit the nearest center. Ancona is 20 miles (32 kilometers) away and is home to visitor attractions including Loggia dei Mercanti, Teatro delle Muse and Vanvitelli's Lazzaretto. Diocesan Museum, Chiesa di Santa Maria della Piazza and Arches of Trajan are good places to visit.

A really good way to learn about an area is by learning about its past. While in Marche, be sure to visit the area's historic castles. Houses of faith are often the best places to experience a region's soul. The cathedrals of Marche are no exception.

Don't visit the area without seeing it from a completely new perspective. There are some great options for sky diving. Marche features plenty of gentle pursuits. Why not spend some time camping or bird watching and leave your worries behind.

At the end of your adventure in Marche, you'll be sure to bid this place a fond "Ciao" Rest assured, however, you'll be leaving with special memories and photos that you can enjoy for years to come.
