this is a very comfortable hotel, good beds.

Location: it's a small town with every kind of store you would need all close together and convenient.
This is a comfortable hotel right in the heart of town. The rooms were very clean , breakfast was good and the staff very helpful. I highly recommend it.

Nice for the price

At this price point there can be a lot of variation in quality. The Days Inn was clean. The breakfast was decent, typical fare: cereal, hard boiled eggs, waffle maker, yoghurt, and bagels/muffins. My only gripe was that the hvac unit could do hot or off. I had to wake up in the middle of the night to turn it off and then was cold in the morning. Location is part of the business strip between Marquette and Ishpeming, but there area couple restaurants that you can walk to. Downtown is a short drive away, but pulling out can be tough sometimes depending on weather and traffic.

Very bad experience

Service desk was not available for a good 5 minutes when I arrived. Walls and ceiling were paper thin. Woken up all night and morning by other guests. Breakfast was loud noisy and packed. The waffle batter was chunky and tasted weird. The heat wasn't working well. The shower alternated between warm, icy and very hot.

OK I guess

My stay was OK I guess. The room seemed clean, but this is an old old old hotel, that had been updated but still shows its age. My room was small and the theromostat did not worked which was bad because it as below zero outside. I guess it was OK for the price but for a few dollars more I will stay in a nicer hotel next time.

We were treated very well and everything was clean. Food was excellent at the two resturants next door. We stayed two nights and everything was great.

Great place to stay with pets, close to shopping

Location: lots of ski/hiking trails near by , lots of shopping, excellent cab service if partying at night
Great place to stay with pets, reasonable price, close to shopping, friendly staff. Door key kept having problems, actually had to put us in another room when it would not open for the night, staff pleasant, need to clean grout in bathroom and get mildew off windows, otherwise clean, pool is good

Great hotel for the money

Pros: Good value for the money and its proximity to area restaurants.
Cons: It would be nice if there was the option of closing some type of curtain at the pool window. It feels funny to have people watch you as they check in
Location: LOVE Perkins and the fact that everything you could possibly need is within such close proximity
I stay here every time I'm in Marquette and I've always had a pleasant stay. Yes, the pool is located in a strange spot but other than that I've always been very happy here. Love that Perkins is so close by too!

Good for the Price

Hotel staff was courteous. The free breakfast was nice, and the fact that it was until 10am was very nice. Didn't have time to try the pool. You can tell the hotel is older but has been updated. The room was a single room with a full size bed, smaller than I'm used to, and at times a little too small. The bed was hard for my tastes, after 2 nights on that bed and lots of time in a car surrounding my back was not happy. My room's thermostat was broken so the room was cold, I just burrowed under the covers. However, the room was clean! Honestly, if up that was again, I might pay the extra for another hotel, but I wasn't paying and Day's in was significantly cheaper than the other hotel chains around. Again, for the price, it was a good hotel.

Just a college visit

Pros: Cleanliness and convenient location
Cons: Breakfast was not very exciting--yogurt, cereal, waffles, etc. Could have used some fruit. But acceptable.
Location: Less then 10 minute drive to college, a lot of restaurants and businesses close by--many within walking distance.
We had a nice stay. The pool is small, but warm and clean. Our beds were very comfy. The room was clean and staff was friendly.
