“Full amenities (except cont. breakfast) in Marquette”

Other than having to say my room number at check-in in front of other guests, everything was pretty good. Love the different firmness pillows. Even the rollaway bed was nicer than usual. Central location. Older hotel that had been rehabbed but still very nice. Pool area is huge. No bathroom fan though.

“Comfort and amenities.”

Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Very large pool area. As a parent I really appreciated this since kids don't feel that they can't have fun without running into someone else in the pool. Plenty of seating around the pool as well. We didn't go to the lounge to watch the advertised sports on big screen tv or to see entertainment but would definitely like to visit it next time. Liked the option for room service, prices not bad, food good. My only complaint is that the carpet was not vaccuumed in the halls or the elevator for the whole weekend we were there. However, the hotel is under renovation so this may have had something to do what appeared to be lack of cleaning.

“Excellent hotel”

We stayed 4 nights. We would go back. Breakfasts in the restaurant were particularly good - cooked to perfection. I would avoid the pancakes unless you prefer heavy pancakes. Eggs Benedict, omelets, hash browns and skillet potatoes were all great.

“Great for Families”

Clean rooms. The pool is the best I have seen. Large area and pool, plenty of tables and chairs, TOWELS, hot tub and sauna. Many good restaurants near the hotel.

“Would use this hotel again”

Older hotel kept up very well and clean good value.

Closest thing to the airport. Was good enough. Close to restaurants and shops. Nice stay.

“Will stay again”

Admittedly, Holiday Inn was not my first choice based on previous reviews stating the hotels obvious age. Our room was clean and comfortable as well as tastefully and currently decorated. I can live with "signs of age" in the hallways. I would also like to compliment the staff as they were very cordial and extremely accommodating. My husband loved the sauna and extended pool hours. We were also quite impressed with Sunday's brunch especially at such a reasonable price!

“Don't stay when motorcycles are there.”

I reserved our room through Expedia. Everything went find except for one thing. The hotel let motorcycles park right up to the front door of the entrance and our room happened to be the first one by the front door. So every time a motorcycle started or came in and parked by the front door, it woke everyone in our room. Try to get back to sleep after several times after hearing that noise isn't easy.

“Not a great Holiday Inn”

Marquette is a beautiful place to vacation. However, the Holiday Inn was very expensive and the condition of the hotel was not impressive. It looked like an old low end hotel was perchased and poorly turned into a Holiday Inn.

“A little disappointing.”

No fridge and microwave in the room is very inconvenient. Room was clean, pool area really nice and big but.... we had a big disappointment at the restaurant. 1 hour and 15 min. waiting for cereal for kids was a little to much and place wasn't crowded. Not to mention that our food was undercooked. Really bad experience over the weekend.
