Adequate hotel, convenient for marathon

Posted Jan 28, 2014
Pros: The pool.
Cons: working lifts.
Being on the fifth floor I wasn't impressed that the lift only worked occasionally, especially after the marathon! And it took about four minutes for the hot tap to produce hot water.

Good location

Posted Jan 6, 2014 on Hotels.com
1. The location of this hotel is the strength of this hotel. 2. The food is good as well as the staff service in the restaurant. 3. The heater does not work well and the glazing is single. The summer may be ok but I would avoid a stay in winter time. 4. The smell from the bathroom is horrible. If you are sensitive to any smell, think twice. The toilet is separate from the bathroom WITHOUT any fan to ventilate the air. 5. The cleanliness even after the bedroom make-up was poor. 6. Bring your toothpaste - the hotel staff didn't know what it is.

Good location hotel, 10 mind walk to medina

Posted Oct 20, 2013
Certain hotel receptionist quite rude, but generally all staff very friendly, breakfast basic, but good choice. Rooms were clean and tidy with the most comfiest beds. 10 mins walk to medina, 15-20 mins walk to merena gardens Great location.

Loud music

Posted Oct 18, 2013
Pros: Lovely pool and plenty of sun loungers an great spa.
Cons: Sound
Location: Once you work out Marrakech the hotel is within walking distance of everything.
A wedding reception kept very loud disco music outiside our room until 4 am and the same the following day until 3 am. I complained may times but nothing happened. Not for families. Also music by pool during day time was like a nightclub and I could not relax and sun bath and music was far too loud. The room service phone did not work in our room but once you went downstairs room service was provided quite quickly.

Basic but OK for a night

Posted May 1, 2012 on Hotels.com
The hotel is situated near to the airport and the staff are friendly, but the hotel itself is very tired and in need of renovation. The room was clean and comfortable, but not where you would want to spend a holiday or more than a night. The breakfast buffet is good and we sat by the pool as we waited for our taxi to take us onto the Atlas Mountains. The only thing I was unhappy about is the fact that our booking was supposed to be inclusive of all fees and local taxes but the hotel insisted on charging us despite showing them our booking details and terms etc.

Worst hotel experience I have ever had!!!

Posted Apr 16, 2012
I have never stayed in a place where the staff were so disorganised, inept and rude!! One night in this hotel ruined my trip to Morrocco. They had no concept of customer service. The room was fine apart from the fact that the wireless internet access didn't reach that far, using the shower flooded half of the room and it was right on top of where the band was situated so the room litereally vibrated late into the night. Don't stay at this place - it is far too much hassle for what you get out of it!!!!

Good location and nice rooms

Posted Jan 31, 2012
Good location, and easy to find with a rental car from airport. It's about a 20min walk to the place Jemaa el Fnaa but there are always taxi's waiting in front of the hotel. We usually paid around 30 dirhams. The rooms are nice and quite big, pool / garden area is pleasant and breakfast buffet is good. Reception staff was not very friendly and helpful though.

Not a great experience.

We reserved two rooms, one for my children and one for my husband and I. We reserved the rooms together but they gave us rooms very far apart. I asked for a room closer together and they said the hotel was full and they couldn't do anything. That's how it is. Also the TV did not work in our room and it was above a club or something so we could hear music until the early hours of the morning. The maintenance person could not fix the TV and told us to go back to the reception. We didn't bother. The room price was good and it was comfortable enough but the standard of the hotel is not 4 star.
