“If you want comfort without hundreds of rooms, and a great view of Koutoubia, you can't do better.”

This is a terrific smallish hotel with all the comforts of a modern hotel, situated just outside the city walls, with fantastic views of the walls and Koutoubia mosque from your room. Food, service, rooms etc all excellent, plus free wireless internet. Only negative is lack of a garden, but indoor and outdoor pools, plus gym and spa is that is for you.

“Handy for the Medina”

A comfortable, very clean hotel with attentive staff, a good restaurant, and within easy walking distance of both the Medina and Nouvelle Ville. Only minor concern - the pool is surrounded by a high wall, a bit claustrophobic, and I should imagine becomes an oven in the Summer.

This hotel was really lovely. Good to be outside slightly- away from the bustle but just a short walk in. Really friendly and helpful reception staff- spacious, clean room with a warm atmosphere. Spa was a luxury!

Booked this after I had read previous customer reviews. We were not disapointed.....beautiful hotel with helpful friendly staff. English was not widely spoken by the hotel staff - reception staff seemed the best option if you really need to speak to someone in english - however we got by with our schoolboy french with no problems. Although we ate out most nights we tried the hotel food and it was delicious... Possibly the best thing about this hotel is the location - literally 10 minutes walk to the medina and in the other directiobn the new town. Location also quiet - a pleasant contrast to the frenetic activity in the Medina.

“A Boutique Beauty”

From the moment we arrived until the minute we left, the staff could not have been more helpful. The decor is classic Moroccan, but the facilities are acceptably modern world. The breakfast is as good as it gets, with everything from fresh fruit or cereals to cold meat platter or smoked salmon and scrambled egg. The prepared to order omelettes are to die for! Some people have reported the restaurant to be expensive, but an exquisite two-course meal is less than 25 pounds a head, albeit without wine. Also, you absolutely must visit the cafe; it has its own bakery and the range of breads is both delightful and delicious. We visited every afternoon for tea (Liptons for wifey and mint for me), together with sorbets and many evenings for tea and paninis. A memorable and most enjoyable stay.

“Loved it!”

Marrakech was great. Loved the hotel- very central and the staff were extremely polite and helpful. We also had a late check-out at 7 pm for no extra charge. I would definitley stay here again. The pool does get shady, but is perfect for those hot afternoons!

the hivernages web site does not do it justice!!! wonderful staff who were happy to help with anything atall !!! the location is fantastic as everything is within walking distance but the fact tat your outside the medina is nice and quiet. some great places nearby to eat and drink. id recomend it for singles couples and familys. the hotel is very stylish with very chic staff !!! 5****** all the way. cant wait to go back !!!

Lovely hotel, beautifully presented, pleasant staff. Great service, low-key, unpressured and friendly. Handy location. Bar and food prices reasonable.
