The hotel itself was great, though there was one big mix up that caused quite a struggle for our stay. Expedia booked our rooms through another booking agency, and doesn't work directly through Hotel Mont Gueliz, so upon our arrival to the hotel our reservations were not listed in the Hotel's computer. They needed a rather large deposit for our first night's stay since they had no proof of our reservation (my confirmation email through Expedia wasn't enough for them) Expedia needs to find a way to work directly with this hotel so mix ups like this don't happen.

Everything was fine except the internet connection. I stayed at Mont Gueliz for five nights and i could never enter the internet. Even thougt it said on hotels.com (before booking) that it was part of the package. For me it means i didn´t get what i paid for. And i had to spend time and money elsewhere to enter the internet.

Very average. Unfriendly. Breakfast poor. No bar. Pool shut. Very basic. Wont stay again.

One room I booked no record we waited over an hour in d loby receptionist can't speak English, toilet not flushing only one toilet paper in a four shared room, we have to ask each day , it's a bad experience for us . Unrecommendable hotel....

There was a building site next to the hotel building and so noise during the day. In the evening, I could hear doors closing in other rooms on different floors - got woken up a few times every night I was there. The location was on the moan road but quite far away from the attractions.

desk staff was very rude to guests using embarrassing comments to wait in line, not even a hello or welcome. I paid for one room two double beds for 4, but desk staff was insisting i have reservation for two single beds for 2. luckily i had my IPad with me to access my reservation and prove it. the employee didn't care about what I think or said. all towels and bed sheets were wet when delivered. no parking at the hotel, and the staff refused to make suggestion to where to park citing responsibility issues.

Pros: Rooms where always looked after
Cons: WiFi only in reception and also no fridge in room
The hotel was always cleaned and looked after, the staff were always present when needed. The location was also good.

Cons: It's not a 100 percent clean because you can smell that someone smoke in the rooms. There is not internet in the rooms. The pool is really small.
Location: It's close to some restaurants and famous garden.
The area is close to a nice garden but has to improve the cleanliness and channels are only in French and Arabic. No English channels :(
