Very Relaxing

Posted May 16, 2014
Pros: Very quiet and it was designed in tradional moroccon
Cons: The road leading up to the hotel.
Location: There is nothing near by. Its about 8 mile from town centre.
I was very frightened going to the hotel at 1am in the morning as I was not informed that the hotel was off a main road and up a dirt track approx. 2km.

peace and quiet guaranteed

Posted May 8, 2014
Pros: everything
Cons: wifi is only at reception - allegedly by the pool on a separate connection - it should be hotel wide as there is no nightlife. better TV.
Location: nowhere and nothing except hotel organised quad bikes and camels - but the terrain is dead boring flat and featureless.
stuck in the middle of nowhere - scrubland a dried up river bed and a shanty village, Le Mirage is actually a marvellous place to stay if you want to do nothing. the '4km' to the medina is a bit naughty - it's 4km to the outermost edge of the medina wall. It's a further 4km to the Koutobia mosque. A twice daily shuttle will take you into the town centre, but the last return is at 7.30pm, so if you want to boogie in Marrakech at night and hang out in the square when it is at it's best you will have to get the hotel taxi to collect you for 200 dh. A lot of city cabs will not take you - because they don't know it or because a lot of the journey is off road. That said, it is a wonderful hotel, only 27 rooms, delightful staff, the food is fine, although I can't speak for the Half board menu the a la carte was lovely. The pool is gorgeous - 20m unheated - but in 40C, it's very refreshing.

Nice friendly people, a family feeling

The staff are really nice, and there is a range of activities to do at the hotel. Really enjoyed the roulette game, and won a massage. The food is really good and the set menu is excellent value for money.

An enigma...

Posted Sep 29, 2013
Pros: Views and staff
Cons: Sun beds around the pool require renewing and perhaps if the bars on the beautiful roof terrace and the pool bar were open this would encourage use.
Location: Location is a wow factor in all manner of ways! Journey to it, actual location. Transfers to town are twice daily, there's camel riding and quad bikin
Wonderful staff, quiet, out of the way, pool way to smelly but don't think there's much can be done about that. Amazing views, peaceful and relaxed atmos. I really liked its genuine charm and authenticity but cannot say I would rush back. It is what it is....

Calm outside of Marrakech

Posted Sep 18, 2013
I live in Morocco and am often in Marrakech for business. The city can be so overwhelming and exhausting so I decided to try a hotel outside of the city center. This one is certainly in an interesting location. Not sure how I found it, but I did. Enjoyed the pool. Wished the jacuzzi was working. Lasagna dinner was fabulous and breakfast also good. A calm place to escape and unwind. I even did a spa treatment that was reasonably priced. The spa might have been the highlight for me. I would consider going back.

Nice hotel!

Posted Aug 2, 2013
Pros: Friendly staff.
Cons: Evening meals. We wish there are more choice.
Location: Very isolated...
A very nice hotel but the location is very isolated.. There are shuttle bus services from the hotel but there are not enough. All in all, the staff at the hotel are all working hard to look after the customers. We are very pleased with that.

Heaven On Earth

Posted Mar 24, 2013
Pros: Sitting on the roof terrace in the early mornings & late nights, listening to the sounds and witnessing beauty! (+ the staff and food) :)
Cons: can't find anything to fault!
Location: The location is an adventure ;)
The feeling of heaven on earth I had found staying at the Kasbah Le Mirage and Spa, located in a traditional Moroccan village, I instantly knew I was going to love my stay on arrival. I was truly captivated by the charm of the place, from the culturally rich Moroccan ambiance, to staff whose hospitality was beyond exceptional, plus, I can't forget the delicious food I ate. I simply enjoyed every moment of my stay. There's not enough words that can explain how AMAZING it really was! All I can say it was 7 days of true BLISS! I'll sum up my experience with one word 'MAGICAL'.

A beautiful, quiet hotel outside Marrakech

Posted Apr 12, 2012
Pros: Peaceful, small number of rooms, Yassine and an excellent taxi driver called Abdou who took us to the Atlas Mountains and town.
Cons: Running out of beer. Off site, do not book Fantasia at Chez Ali. It was touristy, the food was terrible and the performers looked so bored.
Location: About 25 mins from town on the edge of a local village. A quiet location.
The hotel is off the beaten track but well worth staying at. We took a taxi from the airport which was expensive and the taxi driver did not know where he was going so make sure you arrange a pick up through the hotel. It's much cheaper and the taxi drivers know where they are going. The staff were really friendly and helpful especially Yassine who went out of his way to help us and spoke good English. The rest of the staff spoke French so go prepared with some basic French phrases. Some beers and food ran out and the evening menu was very limited but what was available was good and reasonably priced. Overall we had a great experience and the hotel was a peaceful haven to the hustle and bustle of town.
