“Trip of a lifetime!”

I loved my stay at the Riad Cherrata. As a woman alone for the first time in Morocco, Valerie and Sadiya made sure I was well taken care of in every way. The Riad itself is located in a perfect place, close to the square but far enough out to have peace and silence at night. It is beautiful, simple and sparkling clean. I felt like a princess in a magical little palace! I was never lost or afraid because Valerie gave me a thorough orientation with hand-drawn maps to show me exactly where to go, how to stay safe, and what to expect in a foreign culture. The home-made food prepared by Sadiya--yoghurt, preserves, bread, etc,--was some of the best I have ever had. I could not have asked for a more magical and life-changing experience than my trip to Morocco, and the staff at this Riad were the key reason that the experience was so great!

“Beautiful riad and wonderful service”

This riad was beautiful and the owner Valerie was an incredible host. She sat with us when we arrived, drew us a map, gave us recommendations for sites and restaurants, and even gave us a cell phone to use during our time in Marrakech. Quite a wonderful experience staying at Riad Cherrata!

“Safe Haven in Marrakech”

Valerie, the owner of Riad Cherrata, was wonderful. She organized our entire trip, arranged for tours and got us the best taxi driver in Marrakech, Mohammed. Every morning we were greeted with a wonderful breakfast of breads, homemade jams, fruits and yogurts. This was a great asset to us since there was very little else that was edible in Morocco. Valerie even gave us a cell phone in case we got lost in the souks, and, of course, we did. She came to rescue us and walked us back to the riad. Would definitely recommend Riad Cherrata if you are traveling to Marrakech.
