Great stay. Amazing staff.
This was our second time staying at Riad Dar Beldia. The building is beautiful inside, an oasis of calm and quiet in Marrakech. The rooms have both been immaculately clean and tidy. Great roof top terrace. Lovely breakfast. Amazing service again from Karim and the team. Karim organised private taxis for us at some very unsociable hours to get us to and from the formula e race with courteous drivers and comfortable vehicles. Special thanks to Karim for taking the time out to show us how to brew mint tea like a pro, and even check that the tea pot we bought was the correct one for the job. We will definitely be staying again when we’re next in Marrakech.

Better of staying somewhere else
First Of all let me tell you a start out with saying i have stayed in Marrakech before in Riyads actually I was just there two months prior to this trip actually out it’s OK it’s the staff that’s the main problem. They advertise the place to serve breakfast on the Terrace. So when we were told we had to sit inside a dark room on the ground floor to eat breakfast. We were not happy. Secondly nothing works in this place. Not the Wifi, air conditioning, shower, or anything else and when asking the staff to fix any of there issues you’re told “This is Marrakech” lol do not order transportation from them as they will be late and you will be stuck at the airport. There is no real hot water only lukewarm and that is after leaving the shower on for 15min. One night i was left outside the riad for almost 30min knocking on the door while the night receptionist “abdul” was sleeping so i had to call my daughter to wake him up to open. My daughter is black and the staff really did treat her different because of the skin color.

we are surprised to see this comment does not describe the reality , we decided to correct a lot of things . the customer has no respect for the establishment the other guests and the staff, this comment is a revenge for these reasons : the day of arrival, the customer asked us to buy for him a product not authorized by law (Cannabice). We refused this request, which irritated the customer . The client return to the Riad every night at 03am drunk and he makes a lot of noise by lighting up the loud music and it has been claimed by other guests. next day we explained to the customer to change his behavior does not respect the other guests the atmosphere and the context of the Riad, because We are a small, family-run Bed & Breakfast and cannot claim to meet the standards of a hotel. he did not agree to warn him and the customer insulted one of our staff.

This Riad is in a great location, walking distance to the main square and souk. The staff are brilliant, very accommodating. We booked private tours through the hotel, which Karim organised for us. Everything went according to plan, the drivers turned up on time, they were friendly and knowledgeable. The Riad was clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend it.

Awseome beautiful dar with a great staff+ locale
The staff, location and customer care for this hotel was absolutely amazing. Our host, abdullah (whom i kept calling Cristiano because of his likeness to Ronaldo) made sure we had a super comfortable stay and ensured that our entire experience was awesome. They are uber professionals with a family-welcoming nature. The breakfast was great, the dar clean and beautiful and is within walking distance to pretty much everything. If you dont mind long walks, then even the bus station, Gueliz and other parts of town are about 45-60 minutes. The room was always clean and very nicely kept. We would definitely stay here again and again!

Lovely stay at Riad Dar Beldia
We had a lovely stay at Riad Dar Beldia. It is about a 15 min walk to the Jemaa El-Fnaa and close to the southern sights of the Medina, like the Bahia Palace. Breakfast was nice (traditional Moroccan) and the room was very comfortable.

Nice & modern looking Riad in the Medina Old Town which is located near the main square and the attractions to see particularly in the Old Town. The Riad experience itself was ok and not too great with some of the staff we found to be unhelpful apart from one which I would rate highly and that was Karim/kareem who welcomed us warmly on our first day and was helpful throughout our interactions with him on any queries/help that we needed. The breakfast was decent with few different items everyday, however, the only negative thing about the breakfast was the late starting time (08:30) compared to other Riads most probably. However, they do serve breakfast earlier if needed but from our experience the staff failed to accommodate to our needs when we needed to be served the full breakfast with all the items much earlier when we had early tours booked to see. The overall personal experience of the Riad was ok but didn't live up to the good expectations and reviews that I had read up earlier prior to the booking.

Hotel review
The staff was very welcoming and nice. Everyday the staff was able to serve us breakfast and dinner. Walking distance to the Main Street is far but getting a taxi is easy and able to see the other part of the city.

Very friendly, so helpful and close to everything!
Both my partner and I had a lovely experience during our stay, a lovely warm welcome greeted with mint tea and a map of the area making sure we knew where we were and where to go which was extremely helpful! Breakfast was great and the room was always very clean. Ideal for everyone and we would definitely stay again.

Riad was quite nice and staff were very friendly and accommodating but the location isn't ideal. Although it may be close to the main square but its in a fairly old town where tourists may not want to stay whilst on vacation. I would personally prefer to stay in new town and in a hotel where there are more facilities with better surroundings.

Hotel's location was good because everything was in walking distance but wasn't a 100% on the hotel. Found that the breakfast was very poor you did not have much of a choice.

Lovely stay!
The staff, Karim and Rashid, were lovely and accommodating. The riad is nice and peaceful which is a nice contrast from the busy city. Our rooms were clean and the breakfast was great. The pool was free for us to use too. Overall a fantastic stay!

Wonderful Riad. Quiet and convenient location. Staff very very helpful. Very resourceful and knowledgable. We were very comfortable staying there. Only issue would be the stairs one had to climb each day.

My husband and I stayed here during a two day, sight-seeing tour of the Marrakech Medina. It was a calming and quiet retreat from all the hustle and bustle of old town. The main area was well appointed and always manned by one of the delightful staff. They seemed to always be available to welcome us with kind greetings, tea, and/or itinerary suggestions. We had breakfast one of the days and were delighted by the quality and variety of food. It was a really nice mix of local and European. The room was large, comfortable. and quite lovely. We really enjoyed all of the detailing. Last, but certainly not least was the terrace. We spent each evening up there drinking tea and listening to the birds and the city. The riad is easy to find using Google Maps (download Marrakech to get offline access). It is just outside of the old city wall with easy walking access to the main attractions within the city walls. I strongly suggest taking the riad's private car to and from the airport. I'm a very experienced traveler and thought I would be able to talk my way into getting an appropriately priced ride out of the airport, but it was far more work than I had expected. Take the car and avoid the hassle.

Amazing stay in Marrakech!
My girlfriend and I stayed at the Riad Dar Beldia for a week long vacation in Marrakech. The Riad did not disappoint! It was beautifully decorated and very clean. We had breakfast served to us every morning with delicious breads, spreads, yogurt, fruit, freshly squeezed orange juice (and I mean fresh!!) and coffee. We also indulged in numerous pots of mint tea as it was too good to pass up! The staff of the hotel, especially Abdil (sorry if that's not the correct spelling!), were extremely helpful and welcoming. They reminded us time and time again that this was our home while we were in Morocco and were there for anything we needed! We had friends stay at a nearby Riad and we compared the two; while there's was a bit more spacious, the staff were not nearly as friendly and accommodating and their level of service (breakfast, room cleaning) did not even come close to the outstanding service we received. Thanks to all the staff at Riad Dar Beldia for making our stay one to remember! I would highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone (in fact I already have since returning home)!!

Nice hotel not far from the airport
The hotel is home away from home. This is my first visit to Marrakech. I went with my daughter and granddaughter. On arrival at the hotel we were received by Abdul with a welcoming smile and a cup of mint tea. He assisted us with our luggage and showed us to our room. We were given a map of the town and also pointed out places of interest we can visit. The hotel was clean and our room tidied up with clean sheets and towels everyday. The breakfast was the same and we got bored by the third day. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Communication was not a problem as they could speak English and I understood a bit of French. Rashid the night staff was amiable and friendly. When next I go to Morocco I will definitely stay at Riad dar Beldia. We had fantastic and restful time. Places of interest we could visit and also have good food were pointed out to us on the map. Very friendly and helpful staff

Great location
This cozy little hotel was great, walking distance to main plaza about 15 minutes. ABDEL was a great person met us outside the door made us some delicious welcome tea. Hotel has a beautiful terrace on the top floor and a small pool on the main floor. Breakfast is simple breads , coffee, jams and fruit but pretty filling. Got room 5 on the 3rd floor comfy nice big bathroom plenty of hot water. Not recommend for people who can't climb stairs since their's no elevator other than that great place I would recommend this Riad to my friends and family

An amazing experience in Marrakech
We stayed 5 nights in Marrakech and it was our first time here. The Riad is located close to the main square but it was in the perfect location as it was very quiet. The hotel managers Karim & Abdel are so friendly & eager to help if needed and really go out their way to ensure your stay is a memorable one. The room is beautifully presented & very clean. The Morrocan tea that was served was exquisite! We really enjoyed our trip to Marrakech & definitely would stay here again!

Had a week here, the Riad was superb, easy for getting around, kozybar close by, drinks available in the Riad. Karim and Abdel were superb, and we are going to rebook for october. Would recommend staying here to anyone, its small and lovely.

The hotel manager Abdel was excellent and made our stay very comfortable. He is very dedicated to his customers and at no time did he complain even though he sometimes worked more than 12 hour shifts. Would definitely return to this Riad....Very good experience Isaiah

The location is in a quiet entrance of the Medina, just a 15 minute walk to Djemaa el Fna. The staff is very helfull and nice. Breakfast is very good. The perfect place to be if you dont want to be in the middle of the Souks.

Beautiful Riad with excellent staff!
Beautiful Riad, very peaceful and staff were warm and welcoming. The Riad is in Berrima district - very close to the Bahia and Badi palaces which are well worth a visit. It is in a quieter part of the Medina so ideal if you want to be out of the hustle and bustle (Jami Al-Finaa square is around 15-20 min walk). Room was clean and comfortable and Wifi signal never let us down. 5/5

Hidden gem in bustling city
A delightful riad right by the royal palace and a 15minute walk into the great square and souks. We enjoyed exploring the vibrant city and then coming home to a quiet and comfortable room. The staff were all very friendly and spoke excellent english, and the night we stayed in they prepared one of the best tagines of our holiday. Will certainly return.

Lovely getaway
lovely riad - very clean and modern but with traditional feel. Very helpful staff. Wifi worked well even in room on 1st floor. Location is 10 mins walk to Jemaa el-Fnaa square. very enjoyable stay and we will return.

Great authentic Riad
Lovely Riad, great location around 5-10 minute walk to the square, shops around the corner. What makes this riad extra special is the polite, welcoming staff who go above and beyond for guests. The roof terrace was also a great addition and i can imagine it being amazing to sunbathe on in the summer!

Great Place to stay!
we had a wonderful stay here, and would recommend to anyone. It is difficult to find, as I think everything is in the Medina. Bring a Map and be sure to enter through the correct gate so you do not have to drive through the Medina. The staff was wonderful, room was clean and comfortable. There was construction at a neighboring building and started early, and they moved our rooms after the first night with no problem. So helpful. Located near the Jewish Quarter of town, sort of a more quiet corner of the Medina. It was a good 15 minute walk to the square. Internet in the lobby, breakfast was great. In rainy season, it was a little cold in the rooms, so if staying in colder season pack accordingly. There were extra blankets available as well. Can't wait to come back and stay here again!

We were picked up from the airport by the riads driver, he was very friendly and pointed out all the sighs on the way. The hotel staff were very friendly and the hotel was beautiful, clean and relaxing. Excellent location. 10minute was to main square and palace gardens. Building work on last two days which was slightly loud and annoying but can't be helped. Would definitely go back and would recommend.

I did a lot of research before finally deciding on the Riad Dar Bedia for our 7 night stay and was not disappointed! We organised an airport pickup with the Riad which proved to be superb after the long wait in passport control at the airport. The Riad was everything I had hoped for - an oasis amidst the madness of the city. The staff were all charming and did everything to make our stay comfortable. The Riad was tucked away down an alleyway and gave no hint of the hustle and bustle of the city other than the overtures of the call to prayer from the nearby mosques. It was conveniently positioned for walks to all of the major sights. The Riad also organised a day trip to the waterfalls in the Atlas Mountains which was definitely a highlight. We had a wonderful meal cooked in the Riad which was also a highlight of out trip. Exquisite food, cold white wine and a beautiful setting. Many thanks! This was out third trip to the city and the best.

A Beautiful Oasis
We had a fantastic stay at the Riad Dar Beldia from 14/08/14 - 17/08/14. The staff were very kind, welcoming and helpful. The airport transfer, booked through the riad prior to arrival, was ideal and the driver very friendly. Arriving on a hot night, from the hustle and bustle of Marrakech's streets, was like finding a real oasis! We were given a map and shown how to find our way around, whilst enjoying a welcome glass of mint tea. Lovely. Our room (and the riad in general) was beautifully decorated and clean. The riad is in a comparatively easy-to-find location, a pleasant distance from the noise of the central Medina and a straightforward walk from the Place Jemaa el-Fnaa (about 15 mins). We would recommend it to friends and family and hope to return in the future.

Initially when arrived at the location we were terrified. However the managers both Kareem and Simon made all the difference. Excellent customer focused and friendly personality made us comfortable and we settledown well.

A true welcome at Dal Beldia!
We were given a truly warm welcome as we entered this very secluded riad. The gentle young man on duty with a wonderful smile gave us a grand tour of the riad, and took time to show us on a map of Marrakech what would be interesting to see. You could feel he really cared about us. The riad was absolutely beautiful and decorated tastefully. Although we only stayed one night, we met three young men who were in charge, and I can truly say that all three did their jobs extremely well, were helpful in every way and should be congratulated. We left after a hearty breakfast and would certainly recommend this riad to people visiting Marrakech. Thank you!

Immaculate Riad with very attentive staff, great shower and nicely designed bathroom. Room a little small and could hear people easily in other public areas of the hotel but not an issue. All rooms decorated the same so not particularly individual but all very stylish. A bit of a walk from the main square and we did get lost once!
