Do Not Stay Anywhere ElsePosted Sep 27, 2013 on Hotels.com
I booked in for two nights with my partner and was blown away. Stepping out of the medina into the confines of this oasis was priceless. We ended up having to stay in town a few more days and nowhere else compares. Do yourself a favour - check yourself in here and thank me later.

Unbelievable great placePosted Sep 25, 2013 on Hotels.com
The owner Mohamed welcomed us in to his home, the staff is the best I have ever experienced, the Riad Kniza was the best experience I have ever had staying anywhere in the world. We stayed in one of the least expensive rooms and it was great, I can only imagine what the other rooms are like. The location is very convenient and it is a paradise in the busy walled city. My partner and I felt like we were staying in a very rich friend’s home where we could have whatever we wanted and nothing was to much to ask. We met 3 couples our last night that were staying in other Riads that had been told they need to come eat at our Riad. We asked what their Riads were like and all of them said nothing like Kniza, that ours was much nicer. Final note if you are going to Marrakech, stay at Riad Kniza!

beautiful cosy and welcoming riadPosted Apr 3, 2013
Beautiful riad - just what we expected. Staff are extremely friendly and accomodating, going out of their way to help. Dinner is also very good: you choose the main course and the other courses just keep coming, tasty local dishes. The building and rooms are in mint condition, with tasteful decor.

An oasis of calm for couples in hectic MarrakechPosted Dec 17, 2012
Pros: Very friendly staff and beautiful building.
Cons: Very little.
Location: Set at the edge of the Medina in easy ( if somewhat hazardous, due to local traffic) walking distance to the souks and Djemaa El-Fna square.
We spent 2 nights in Riad Kniza and were certainly not disappointed. It is an oasis of calm in the hectic environment of Marrakech's souks and Medina. The Riad has been beautifully restored to reflect the history and remarkable craftsmanship which is uniquely Moroccan. The staff are very warm and go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Rooms are clean, tidy and generiously upholstered adding that extra touch of luxury. This would not be somewhere to take kids since it would spoil the serenity of the place. We had a very good, authentic Moroccan dinner of tajine and Moroccan salad both nights by the open fire. Breakfast was a very pleasant on the roof terrace in the morning sun. Weather at this time of year ( Dec 15th) was warm during day ( 25C) and chilly at night (6C) and since the rooms open onto the atrium you well advised to pack accordingly. We very much enjoyed the couple of days we had exploring Marrakech. Thanks Riad Kniza!

A fabulous experiencePosted Jun 27, 2012 on Hotels.com
With only nine rooms, and some of the best service I have experienced, it was a fantastic 3 day break. Nothing was too much trouble, all the staff were were brilliant, lovely roof terrace, great food, pool, clean rooms, with authentic Moroccan décor and air con (it was 109F). Highly recommended.

Hospitality with a capital "H"Posted Apr 9, 2012 on Hotels.com
This is how it is done. We were greeted by the manager, offered tea in a downstairs lounge followed by a sumptuous breakfast spread on the roof terrace. All this before check-in time! Meals are served when you want, where you want. There are no bills to sign, and guests are very courteously greeted every time they appear. Rooms are beautifully appointed and everything works perfectly. A free guided tour of the city is provided, and the desk will make restaurant bookings and provide a guide if you wish. On the day of our departure we left the room at 12 but didn't need a taxi until 4pm; as a final courtesy we were offered the free use of a spare room in which to shower and change. This is how all hotels should be run, and other hoteliers should be forced to come and stay here to see how it is done!
